I had a relatively small residential job to add several outdoor outlets (around exterior of house and eaves), along with a new flood light hook up and a 30 AMP RV receptacle. Since I was in no hurry, and didn’t want to spend a fortune, I contacted several different electrical contractors – two who provided an estimate over the phone (you know how that goes once the job starts) and others who wanted to charge a minimum to come out for an estimate (I declined those). Ultimately I had five bids in hand from reputable electrical contractors (per Angies List, Yelp, and/or BBB.org). Rocket Electric was my last estimate – they were the most reasonable (and met my budget). Marcus (owner), came out to do the estimate and was extremely knowledgeable on how and where to place outlets to limit drywall and exterior damage, along with keeping the exterior looking “clean” with no exterior tubing runs for wires. I was a bit hesitant with choosing Rocket Electric since there weren’t many reviews on Angies List, and no reviews on Yelp (however later I found there are several on Homeadvisor.com), but I ended up taking a leap of faith and going with Marcus and Rocket Electric – it was a great decision. I don’t normally leave reviews unless I’m completely satisfied, and in this case I was. Macus, the owner, arrived on time, had a great attitude throughout, and did great work within the time frame quoted. He was also very accommodating as we had a 2 and 3 year old napping and he worked around their sleep schedule to minimize the noise near their rooms. I would hire Rocket Electric again without thinking twice (and likely will this spring), as their rates, quality of workmanship, and attitude are 5-star in my book.

Don’t hesitate to call Marcus at Rocket Electric if you need electrical work done! I called & left messages with probably 20 companies, including Rocket, early Monday afternoon; I was on an IMPOSSIBLY tight schedule, needing to get a couple of ceiling light fixtures repaired (or replaced) by no later than Tuesday, so that my realtor could photograph the house on Wednesday! I also had some electrical issues in my shed, which were on the old knob & tube wiring; the lights had suddenly stopped working, but I figured there was NO way I’d find anyone willing to look at that, even if I were lucky enough to find an electrician on such short notice. Not only did Marcus call me back, when NO one else did, he squeezed me in at the end of his work day, Monday! SAME DAY SERVICE! Woohoo! He was a life saver! He was super friendly, professional, very honest, & didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary work. He ended up replacing two fixtures in my kitchen, repairing a cluster-light fixture upstairs, AND fixed the issue in my shed! Plus, his fee was very fair and affordable! I couldn’t be more pleased, and WILL be calling Rocket again to have him troubleshoot a hall light in our current home, as well as install a couple of sconce lights above a bed. Rocket rocks!
