OVERVIEW: I was very impressed with Pacific Star Gutter Service. The owner, Kyle Martel, is knowledgeable and pleasant. He represented his product well and honestly. The project estimate was done efficiently, seemed fair and was precisely what we paid. The company is nearly forty years old. Their website states “We Take Great Pride In Our Quality Workmanship” and they support that with excellent warranties: • Labor and workmanship – 10 years, • Gutters and downspouts – 40 years (manufacturer), • Leaf Relief – 25 years (manufacturer). The installation was done when promised and went smoothly. The system is now 18 months old and has performed flawlessly through two winters. DETAILS: ● Initial Contact The owner, Kyle Martel, did the site visit and walk-around. He was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable. Pacific Star Gutter Service is a family business started by his father so he has a wealth of experience and perspective. Kyle had several helpful suggestions regarding our installation, one of which actually decreased the overall cost (i.e. - a 5” rather than 6” gutters). I was particularly fond of his idea to use round rather than rectangular downspouts. The finished product looks very sharp! ● Crew & Workmanship The installation was done by Howard and Mike. They arrived early and worked diligently and efficiently. Our house has quite a number of indentations in the roof line and frequent downspouts for the offsets but the process appeared to proceed smoothly. It has been several months since the installation and the system seems to be solid and working as expected. Howard and Mike were both pleasant and polite and represented the company well. COST / VALUE: $2,700 BOTTOM LINE: My experience with Kyle Martel and Pacific Star Gutter Service was excellent from beginning to end. I recommend them with out reservation. Five Stars!

we got 4 bids, Pacific Star was not the lowest, but not the highest. The person who came out to get the info for quote took the time to answer our questions, talk with us about our concerns and make recommendations. They showed us the different material choices and that helped us make our choice. Not high pressure like some of the other companies we talked to. Gave us a senior discount as well. We schedule, they were here on time, got the job done, reviewed it with us and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with this company and will recommend them to anyone who needs gutters.

The person who came to give an estimate was very prompt and professional. When the installers arrived, they were in a truck that had a machine inside that custom made my gutters. They were also prompt, courteous, professional and fast! I would highly recommend this company!

Pacific Star came and estimated the work, promptly gave us a bid and we scheduled work for a couple of weeks out. They showed up as planned and did an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate hiring them again

Called them on a Monday, they came out next day to work up bid. Received bid by email the next day. We were extremely happy with bid and called to schedule. Because we needed to add fascia boards, they delivered the primed boards the next day so I could get them painted our house trim color. They installed fascia and gutters the following week. Crew was great, we are very happy

Pacific Star Gutters was a dream to work with. It's a family business and they even gave us their home address, so we could drive by and check out their work. They were so kind and professional. I remember the gutters costing the estimate they quoted us, and they were even great about explaining how prices were affected by copper prices and when they bought their supply.
They warranty their work and mean it! Four months after they installed our gorgeous, new copper gutters (for a much better price than their competition), a big duck flew into the corner and knocked it loose. They came out, repaired the gutter and made the anchor sturdier for free!, as part of the warranty. (I think the duck was mesmerized by their pretty shininess. Indeed many people have stopped to admire the gutters and even taken pictures as they've gone by.)
Pacific Star was very helpful in choosing the style and size of gutters to best match our house. I don't think the gutters would look as good if we didn't have their help picking them out.
They also did a great job of explaining what to expect as the copper aged, so we had no unpleasant surprises, only pleasant ones as we looked for the different colors they explained might show up depending on the exact mineral content.
They also explained how to remove the downspouts when we painted. We did as they showed us and it worked great when we repainted part of the house.
I wish every business could be as honest, skillful, kind and pleasant as Pacific Star Gutter Service. (I also wish they did other types of contracting so I never had to hire anyone else.)

Overall they can put on a gutter, but they do not back up their work when the rain starts.

They were pretty good. I sent them digital photographs thinking that it would make their job easier and they may not have to come till here. They appreciated that. They gave me an estimate and scheduled the job. They came and said that the space needed to be narrower which means they were custom built. The girl at the office told me that there would not be any extra charges though it was custom because it was their fault. That was really nice. There is a little problem that I notice this weekend. The gutters have to be in a slight angle so that the water runs properly and that does not seem to be working properly. I will have to call them again. I am really that they came and got the job done in less than two hours. Together we came up with a goo solution for a really tricky problem. I would recommend them and will use them again.

This company provided a prompt bid, called me while on site to confirm the job. They showed up when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and did a great install. Copper gutters can be soft and their installation was flawless. The price was not cheap, but copper is expensive and they were able to do the job for less than I could have purchased the copper. They are very professional, prompt, and I would certainly use them for a gutter job that needed a quality and professional install.

The experience was very positive. They delivered on what was promised. The person answering the phone was very courteous. I talked about our project with the owner, and she was very professional and personable. The lead installer was knowledgeable and helpful. They were punctual, professional, and on budget. Based on this single experience, I definitely would recommend them.

They had the best price. They were easy to get a hold of. They showed up when they said they would. The workers were very experienced. They did the job in a timely matter.

They did what they said they would do and when they said and they would do it. My gutters are great, we haven't had any leaking or problems since we had them. They were very nice workers and they made sure that everything was up to my standards before they left.

We picked Pacific Star for their availability. The installer seemed like a "Know it all" and even offended my neighbor who asked about his gutters when he saw ours being worked on. The gutters were installed quickly but the installers broke drainage tiles that the downspouts flowed into and stacked the pieces around the downspouts without repairing them. Several landscape shrubs had their branches broken off when the installers were positioning their ladders. We had painters come the week before and they had no problem not damaging the plants. One existing downspout was not installed at all. We had leakage in front of our entrance doorway where the gutter was not flush against the house and a 1/4 inch gap allowed water to drain down over the entrance. To their credit, a crew was sent out twice to fix the problems. I asked for a different crew the 2nd time which was very responsive. An additional downspout was installed at a fair price.

WHEN WE FIRST CALLED FOR A QUOTE, THE RECEPTIONIST PUT US ON HOLD FOR A LONG TIME AND WASN'T ESPECIALLY FRIENDLY. BUT WHEN WE FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH MIKE MARTEL, HE WAS PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE RECEIVED GUTTER CLEANING QUOTES FROM 3 COMPANIES, AND ALTHOUGH PACIFIC STAR GUTTER WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST, THEY HAD THE MOST EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY WITH HOMES WITH STEEP ROOFS. OUR JOB WAS CONSIDERED 'DIFFICULT.'

VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THEIR WORK, DID NOT EVEN NEED TO BE HOME. VERY EFFICIENT AND COMPETITIVELY PRICED. HAVING THEM SHOW UP WITHIN 4 DAYS OF ESTIMATE WAS THE DETERMINING FACTOR SINCE THEY WERE PRICED WITH THE COMPETITION.
