JR did an excellent job, he came five times for various tasks - and he was punctual every time. When he needed to reschedule - he would tell me well in time. His work quality is very good - I cannot tell my new floor from old though we had to use Brazilian Cherry instead of lyptus. He cleaned very well when he left - including final touch with wood color, hiding nail mark etc. I did like his price as well - best among the quotes I got. So he is dependable and good value for money.

JR was professional, personable, and, most importantly, really good at what he does. We could not have been more pleased with our floors.

JR is the most organized and efficient house contractor that I have ever worked with. My basement floors look great, there were no surprise costs, he showed up on time for every interaction we had and communicated well throughout the process.

I am selling my house and I was in a huge time crunch to get these hardwoods done. And by done I mean 25 years of wear and tear sanded off and resurfaced. JR not only reached out to me at 10:15 at night to get more details, but met me a day later and started the job Immediately. He promptly came back the next day and finished it all up and the hardwoods look amazing! There is no way I was going to beat his price going with anyone else… If only I had known about JR years ago! I included photos with a single coat and a double coat… I forgot to take a final picture with the third coat on, but I will add it to this review as soon as I do. But trust me, you could do your hair in these floors. They are so shiny and perfect looking.

He is so very much authentic - does great work - timely - professional- unassuming- reasonably priced - in reality I got much more which the price did not reflect - peace of mind - amazing looking floors brought back to life in the log home - I’m a retired home improvement executive - I’ve done the screening for you - trust me- this guy is for real and does amazing work - no I’m not his brother or a friend - just an extremely honest person tired of folks getting ripped off

We hired JR Olsen, to refinish our hard wood floors that are 27 yrs old. We choose him due to his customer reviews and workmanship and he did not disappoint. So very leased with the work and the job he did. Highly recommend him. If you should have any projects come up needing this kind of expertise, JR is the one you want. JR the owner and operator was fantastic and our refinish job looks amazing. He was nice enough to lend us his color palette and even bring a couple of sample pieces so we could be absolutely sure on the color. We had the project completed while we were on vacation and he was great with our cats and we had no issues at all. I highly recommend his company!

Excellent work we first had JR refinish our downstairs a small job but wanted to see his work. Then he did our upstairs bedrooms hallways and stairs. JR did a superb job. On time , neat and tidy. Very aware making sure things are done correctly

JR was prompt and courteous every step of the way. He arrived at the agreed upon time (and apologized when 5 minutes late!) assessed the situation and gave us a reasonable quote on his recommended management of the problem. I wish that every contractor operated like JR. Incredibly reliable and on time with everything he did. Was available to answer any questions and was very honest with guiding the right decisions for what to do with my flooring. I'm soooo happy with how it turned out. JR sanded and stained my entire 1st floor which was in rough shape after over 20 years. The floor looks phenomenal now. Couldn't be happier. JR also operates lean as a business and his bid was very fair. Thank you JR!!

JR is just amazing. Took a floor that was in really rough shape and turned it around in five days. Replaced a water damaged section with wood recovered from a renovation. Seamless. Highly recommend!

Though the area we needed to refinish was below his project minimum, JR earned that and much more for the same price. He included the adjacent dining room and hallway for continuity, going over-and-above in multiple ways to ensure that the result was not only delightful for us but something HE would be proud of. And he's a pleasant person to talk with while watching paint dry.
