Hoglunds has 14 employees; each person an expert in their specific field of service. At times we may use subcontractors that are licensed, bonded and only those who we can put our own name behind on their quality of craftsmanship. Service are scheduled by appointment and deposits required for ordering any parts needed to perform that service. Estimates are always free and no appointment necessary. "1/20/2016 It is truly unfortunate that you feel the need to post such claims about the great work we did. Even after the cases you made with the BBB and Attorney General; which you deemed satisfied and are closed with your approval. Being in business for 52 years with an accredited BBB rating of A+ does not warrant the claims that you are making on us. It seems that you were excited and appreciative of the hard work that we did for you until it was time to pay the final bill. All of the work, materials, labor cost and timeframe was signed and approved by you in writing. The car had preexisting and unforeseen issues like rusted body floors, rusted window frames, rusted tracks and rusted convertible top parts. These all got added to the job with your signed approval. All the times (which was more than 10) you came by to inspect and saw the progress that we had made, you then gave us a payment for that progression. I am truly hurt (offended) by the untrue claims that you make publicly about us. We've bent over backwards to try and appease you; I even forfeited $6000 back to you voluntarily despite the invoices that you've signed. I only wish you the best and know that we did stellar work on a very old/classic car that had many preexisting problems. The scope of the project was massive and approved by you: Custom design (one of a kind) interior seats and door panels (complete color change) All new upholstery recovered and sewn with new design on seats and doors Complete custom carpets Acoustical sound deadening Custom leather wrapped steering wheel Powder coated all seat frames New convertible canvas top New well-liner, tack rails and top pads Convertible top frame was rusted and removed for sandblasting Replace all rusted top parts and repainted Replaced full hydraulic top pump, lift cylinders and hoses Re-chromed various interior parts in poor condition Replaced rusted floor pans in very poor condition Repaint steel dashboard (complete color change) Repaint door panel trim and various other parts (complete color change) All new window frames replaced, new rubbers, inner and outer window scrapes, glass runs, adjusted Various seals replaced Custom trunk interior Diagnose electrical, replaced battery and add cut-off switch New seat belts, top latch and tail"

I am fairly pleased with the work done and the seat is comfortable in the affected area. The upside on their work is that Hoglund's has been in business they had the matching fabric; the downside is the new fabric pattern wasn't matched to the existing fabric (minor but noticeable).

We picked Hoglund's from Angie's List. There weren't many to choose from that specialize in sunroofs on cars. We took it to our regular mechanic in Seattle and he suggested going to a specialty shop to have it diagnosed since sunroofs can be tricky. What a great suggestion! We had another reason to be in Everett, WA so we called and they said to drop on by. Outlining the cost of diagnosis...the amount of time for that cost and that the cost could be folded into the actual work charge if we had it repaired with them. This they told us on the phone before we drove up there. All makes good business sense to me. What I didn't expect was that Tony took a look my sunroof, made some minor adustments and didn't charge us anything. We did need a new handle to replace a cracked one since that was what started the problem to begin with. We ordered the part through him. It came when he said it would and we took the car back to have him put in the little handle. Good thing we did because it was a bit tricky. In it went. Again no charge for that...just a charge for the part. All I can say is there are few shops like this around anymore. Really nice people that know what they're doing.

The curtains came out fantastic and Hoglands was very easy to work with. I new what I wanted, but they made some very good suggestions that improved my design. The quality of work is excellent! I would use them again.

I've had clear bra and tint installed on previous vehicles. This was the best installation job I've had. Aaron is an excellent installer. The clear bra had zero flaws in it. On top of that he used 3M Pro clear bra film which has very little orange peal. The clarity is great. Window tints typically have bubbles that go away over time. I found one bubble in the five window that were tinted and that has gone away. Price is very competitive and a great value for the quality of work that you receive. Recommend very highly that you give them the opportunity for your business.

Dropped the car off the night before and they locked it up in the yard. They had it all day Thursday and I picked it up on Friday, late AM.
I had made a $600 dollar deposit when the leather was ordered (about a week and 1/2 before: Christmas being between the order and work being done)..

I contacted Hoglunds per the recommendation of another repair shop for a water leak around the rear window of my pickup truck. Sarah called me to give me updates on where the leak originated and told me the next steps in the process. The technician found another leak after we talked and Sarah called me to inform me of what else was found. The seal around the rear window was therefore replaced and the leak around the high-mount brake light was repaired. Hoglund's did a great job replacing the headliner as well. I was very impressed with the details of their repair work and everything was done in a timely manner. I will be taking my vehicle back if any other upholstery work is required.

I was predisposed to rehire Hoglund's because they had done good work previously. About 6 years ago I had my vaulted ceiling windows tinted, to help solve the excessive heat build up and fading problems due to the sunshine in the summer time. However, this time I also had an estimate done by another highly rated company on Angie's List. What threw it over was the fact that Hoglund's came in much cheaper despite a travel fee, and the fact that they keep great records and could look up my previous job, and match the tinting perfectly. Sammy, one of Dave's employees, came to do the work, and was professional and a pleasure to have in my home. She did a fantastic job. I think it speaks well of the company that the quality of their workmanship has been maintained over the years.
