I was impressed with how fast the whole process went, from the initial call to the installation. We needed a small double-paned bedroom window replaced after the outer pane had shattered during a windstorm. I called and left a message for one contractor on Angie’s list who never returned my call. Then I called and spoke to another Angie’s list contractor who agreed to come out to give us an estimate to replace our broken window, and he was a no-show. Having tried two service providers who had an A, I decided to try Goldfinch in spite of their B rating. Goldfinch came to the house on a Friday and said they would have the estimate to us that day. When I didn’t have it by Tuesday morning, I called and had it emailed to me. The estimate was at the very low end of what I’d expected, so that was great. I accepted the bid on Tuesday and paid the 50% down so they would order the glass. To my surprise, they were ready to install it that Friday. I scheduled an installation time for the following Monday between 10 and 11. The installer got here around 11:20 and was done in less than 20 minutes, even with cleaning up after himself. Yes, the installer was a few miniutes late, and I did have to follow up for a copy of the estimate. But they got the work done fast and well, and each person I had contact with was pleasant and professional. So I give them an A, and there is no question that I will look to them if I ever need more window work done. This was a great experience.

Goldfinch came out on my schedule to give quote, ordered windows and set up convenient time for install. Installation crew forgot to put one screen back but otherwise were tidy, efficient and professional. Would call them again.

There was a mix-up on the screens each person I talked to from the office to the two men sent out, one measured the other replaced glass all had different ways it is done . Turns out we never got all the screens we needed although we did not pay for those we did not get. It ended up we had to drive out to Everett to pick them up if we wanted them. I suggested I could wait until someone was in my area again so they could deliver, but never happened. The biggest complaint was after all the windows were installed the installer told me I had Millgard windows which have a life time guarantee. We are the first owners, I guess on moving day some details of guarantees can get forgotten. Everything I had just paid for would have been free if I had called Millgard first. I think it would have been decent of the office or the man who came to measure to have suggested I check that out first. It was made clear this type of thing happens all the time. Both My husband & I are self employed and have never not informed our clients of such things. Just bad business integrity, something almost unheard of today ;*(

It did not go well at all - when the windows were delivered, they were late and the cabinets were due to be delivered.  we had no place to store them and it was crucial to get the windows up.  Under those circumstances, it was impossible to not accept them and even if we knew the salesman ordered the wrong windows, which we did not until they were installed, we still would have had to accept them.  Every time I look out of a window I am looking at my gorgeous views through a screen - it just makes me angry all over again.  And every time I have to pay someone to wash my windows because they are not the "easy-wash" type I expected, I will also again be upset at Goldfinch Brothers.

They were excellent, actually we had very little contact with them because it was all out side but it was very nice, they did what they said they were going to do and we had no problems.

Kevin came to our home to field measure and provided a complete and concise quote with multiple options per our request p. He was very helpful and professional. We selected Milgard Tuscany windows and love them. Goldfinch had the most competitive price of the 4 quotes we solicited. We used Goldfinch several years back to furnish and install windows on our first home and they were first class.

They overpromised and underdelivered. They did some doors and windows for me, and I was not satisified with their results.

Goldfinch was very flexible to our schedule, courteous and timely. The pricing was good. We added a window to their worklist late in the project and they were very flexible. We'll have them come out and do the same when our other (aging) windows begin to fail.

I called them Friday to get them to come out but they couldn't actually fix it until after the weekend, they just measured it. The price they quoted me was a little high, but when I got the bill the price was lower. I have used them before and they've done a good job. They were very nice people.

It went good. They were late for the appointment and they didn't call. When they cleaned up they even cleaned the inside and outside of window.

The sales person who worked with me was extremely helpful in advising me how to save money ordering standard window sizes that would fit into my existing window areas for replacement, with only a small downsize framing adjustment, rather than order custom sizes that were only an inch larger but would be significantly more expensive (at least 10% more). The price was as good or better than the other window suppliers I contacted. The only hitch was that the order did not go in to Milgard on the date we expected so there was a delay of a couple of weeks. It did not significantly delay our repair project but it is important to follow up with Goldfinch on order timing. Overall I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

Kevin was outstanding. He was able to recapture the historical charm of our home. The old windows were replacements done sometime in the 1950's and were configured inappropriately. He came to the house numerous times to discuss window options before we made our final choice. The showroom sales associate had the brilliant idea of matching the French doors to the exterior back door. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Installers were polite and on time each day.

They were unusual windows. We had talked to a number of people who said they couldn't do our windows because of the way they were. They were very old style, double paned wooden windows. We had to go through a great deal of trouble finding someone who could even do them. They did them and they couldn't quite exactly do them the same which they made very clear to us ahead of time. I don't believe you can necessarily tell the difference without going at them and looking. It is very close. They were very professional about picking up everything. One of the windows was broken and they immediately re-ordered another one. It had to be ordered, but they got here as soon as it came. They called me and came out that day or the next. They were very personable and professional. They were very responsive. They just took a long time. They had to find out where they could get windows like that. Once they had the windows, their punctuality was good.

Excellent service (I installed myself) with shopping their brands, options and displays, my questions, competitive price, and ordering. Brandi maintained communication during entire process from ordering through manufacturing and delivery scheduling. Very professional.

When the first glass did not fit perfectly, they took it back and replaced with perfect fit glass unit at no charge. I would not have known it was not perfect. Well done !! It has been two months since the installation, and windows are great (well, OK, they don't wash themselves, but otherwise...) We will use them again.
