It went extremely well. Helped us through decisions, open, honest, professional and all at a great price. Amazing job, on-time, on-price, cleaned everything and checked-in with us when the work was complete. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I had seen their work on a couple of houses in the neighbourhood, and they are also a local company (a short walk from my house!) so I requested a quote.  Morgan came out and inspected during the day (did not have to take time off work) and e-mailed a detailed 6 page proposal stating exactly what they planned to do, including images of the products they were planning to use.  The proposal included 4 different price points (based on the quality of the shingles).  Their quote was among the lowest we obtained and there was no upselling of unnecessary costlier alternative products.  We chose the second highest option in the quote.

They were scheduled 8 weeks out, but because of the size of our job they thought they could fit us in at a couple of days notice within the next three weeks, and three weeks to the day I got the call that the dumpster would be there tomorrow.  A 2 guy team showed up and in spite of a couple of hours rain delay had the old roof stripped and waterproof by the end of the day.

Most of the shingles went on the next day, and they even came back the following day (sunday) to finish up.  The workers were quiet, seemed efficient, very tidy (cleaned up every day, have yet to find any nails or rubbish of any kind) and polite. 

I really couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Quickly returned phone calls. Prompt quote with additional information about different materials and colors. Cost was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Started a few days early as they were ahead of schedule. Finished in the time they said. Had to come back a few times as needed to fix some bent gutters and clean up tar on the deck. Also recommended gutter guards and had someone come install. I would not recommend gutter guards however in this state. With a composite roof they are always clogging and with the amount of rain we get the water just flows over the tops. If I had to do it over again I would just leave the gutter guards off. Roof looks great and happy with the customer service.

It went well. No complaints. They worked around a lot of unforeseen obstacles.

We arranged all four estimates over the phone.   We had already decided on what brand of roofing product to use so all four roofing companies were using the same product in their bids.   Forecast was the best deal.  Morgan their sales rep met with us to discuss the contract,  product, process and timeline.  He was professional and courteous at all times.  Because of the fall weather, we had to be flexible with the schedule which was not a problem for us.   Morgan kept us appraised of the start day.   We paid half the cost up front with the second half upon completion.  We were told it would take three days but it took less.  They even worked on a Saturday due to the good weather.  I did visit the site a couple times and there were several workers on the roof.   They do need to use the electricity at the house.  Some other companies bring their own generators.   I did want to verify they covered the old louvered attic vents on the sides of the house near the ridge. This is because the new roof uses ridgeline ventilation.  So I insisted on an inspection prior to final payment.  Morgan met me on a Saturday at the house we we got up on the roof.   The quality of their work was much better than the original roof.   The flashing and the eve protection was better or didn't exist with the original roof.  They did a nice job on clean-up and I saw no debris in the yard.  I did notice that the bathroom fan vent and kitchen fan vent had not been installed.    I did not know this prior to the inspection and I'm not sure Morgan did either.  Morgan explained the crew did not have the right size available when they finished the job.  Nevertheless, he had his crew there later that same day to do this work.   If Angies' list had a rating for communicaitons, I would have rated  them a B for that.   The roof looks great and I will use Forecast again and recommend them to anyone.

The roofer showed up on time. This was a simple task. We had a vent panel re-installed after falling off from the front facia of our house. I did have to assist the roofer because of the height and pitch of the roof. And, he was by himself. None the less, he got the job done in a timely manner, was professional and gave me a deal.

Best contractor experience in a long time

Forecast Roofing was the only company that we requested estimates from that planned a meeting to go over the product, pricing etc. They were very informative about their company and the whole process. We signed the agreement and had a potential start date for the job. Afterwards we  had a family issue come up that required us to be out of town at that exact time as was originally suggested.  Forecast was able to move the job up for us to have it completed before we left.  The crew arrived on time and in the first day, completed the old roof removal and installed the plywood base and felt.  The next day they arrived on time with a crew of 8 and completed the shingle installation.  The yard and surrounding area was cleaned up complety.  We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. 

I spent $19000 on that work.  It was a good experience and I have no
complaints.  The people were really nice
to work with.  They gave us a very competitive bid and they were very responsive.

They actually were ahead of schedule, so they came early. They did the job in one day. My husband liked that the company had the ability to not have to re-roof. They saved us money.

They have done an excellent job. They were very punctual and worked with us. They fit it in a time frame that we had to have it done in.

I contacted Forcast Roofing for a bid on replacing our roof. From my first contact with them, they were a class act. They arranged an estimate within a few days, which was very clear and offered a variety of shingle choices and options, each with descriptions outlining benefits and costs. They provided references and we drove by a few to check out their work. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and the thorough approach they took in their estimate and in my conversations with them. We gave them the OK to proceed, under the condition that they avoid forcasted rainy periods that might soak the wood. We timed it perfectly for a long rainy spell in Sept/Oct, but Morgan called every few days to plan a viable schedule. When the weather broke, the crew and materials arrived ready to go. They removed the old roof, replaced the paper, and ADDED metal flashing in places the builder didn't - everywhere you might think it would help. Very thorough, effecient, and outstanding workmanship. They cleaned-up after each day's work. (though I'm still finding staples and nails that flew around the yard - minor annoyance) After a horrible winter with snow, wind, rain, and everything the northwest could throw at it, we're still dry. This is remarkable, because the original roof leaked occasionally under snowy conditions where water would creap past poorly flashed areas. We did notice that the weather seal at a skylight was letting in air, guessing that the seal was damanged during the re-flashing work. A call in June 2009 resulted in an immediate offer to replace the seal and do the work later that day. Like I said - a class act. Billing was right on-budget. Overall, these guys are a model of how to run a roofing company. Well done!
