About us

Finish Line Heating & Cooling installs and services HVAC equipment in residential and commercial applications. We service and install all makes and models of furnaces and are a Rheem Authorized Dealer. Only those heating and air conditioning dealers who meet Rheem’s highest standards and closest scrutiny — not only for their technical expertise, but also for their business practices and customer service quality – earn this distinction. Evaluating an air conditioning and heating dealer requires work. It’s an important process because choosing the right dealer can make the difference between getting the most comfort and efficiency for your money, or getting stuck with a heating or air conditioning system that doesn't meet your needs. Along with Rheem, we are also proud dealers of Honeywell, Navien and State products

Steve and Travis gave us a fair price for installation of new furnace and A/C unit several years ago. A/C was best decision we ever made for hot weather! Problems surfaced as soon as winter arrived with freezing temperatures. The water froze in pvc pipes carrying water discharge from condensator pump to outlet point on exterior wall. Furnace SHUTS OFF when no where for water to exit! Travis responded to call and admitted they had not properly sloped the pipes enough to drain water, which sat trapped in unheated/unfinished garage area. Corrected with added sloping and issue was fine... until most recent extreme cold temps this winter. Again, water has frozen at some point in the same pipes, which I realized were left WITHOUT INSULATING foam wrap in final 8 ft run to exterior wall outlet. Called Finish Line to advise... sent text messages... NO RESPONSE!?! Disappointed in their poor workmanship and apparent disregard for the quality of service to paying customers. Don't use them!

Serviced the entire system - which hadn't been serviced for 3 summers. Very helpful technician instructed us on how to keep it in good shape. We asked him to put us on this list for annual review.

Our house is a new construction 1969 square foot rambler. We wanted to add A/C because we work from the house year-round. We chose Finish Line Heating and Cooling because they had installed the furnace, their bid was competitive and they had good references on Angie's List.
They (two people) arrived on time, with everything they needed. They disassembled the Rheem gas furnace and plenum to make room for the Rheem 3 ton A/C unit. Then they reassembled the furnace with a modified stack. They routed the refrigerant lines under the house in the crawl space from the garage to a back corner of the house where they installed the outside unit on a pad and then connected everything. They also replaced the original thermostat with a new enhanced version.
During the same time to people from Westco Electric (recommended by Finish Line) arrived. They routed 230VAC and 110VAC from the service panel in the garage through the garage attic, down to the furnace and then under the house to the outside unit and then connected them to the system.
The overall work took about six hours, including cleanup and testing. The electrical work took the longest due to the need to move some circuits in the panel and the extended distance (attic and crawl space). The A/C system looks like it has always been part of the furnace and it works perfectly. During the recent warm spell (90+ degrees, the internal temperature stayed at the programmed 74 degrees).

Steve is excellent to work with, reliable and provides good service. He is smart and knows what to do without needing a lot of direction. His prices are excellent. When re-routing some heat venting, he needed to spend a fair amount of time cutting though some unexpected blocking under my deck - he just did it without complaint - he just seemed to enjoy it as part of the challenge.
Steve's work was also very clean, although sometimes he didn't pick up after himself so well - but to be fair, he probably realized that I cleaned the site myself daily and I don't like paying professionals to stand around and sweep - if I cannot clean up by myself I would call a cleaning service - not a HVAC person.
If I need anything in Steve's wheelhouse I would definitely call him again.
