Evergreen Security is a family owned-operated business that has been trusted to serve NW Washington's security needs since 1978. We offer a multitude of security services and products. We believe every customer's needs are unique and offer free consultations to determine what system and products work for you. We also provide a free service call to set up existing systems for monitoring and we can monitor most older panels as well so there's no need to replace your existing panel. Our Standard monitoring fee is $29/month with no long term contracts.

Works well but one significant problem. If the alarm is set off, they call to see if it is a real problem or an accidental trigger. The problem is they use a robo call to do this. We have the NoMoRobo service through our phone provider. So their call is blocked and doesn't go through. I've told them and the NoMoRobo people about this problem, but it still persists.

"First of all, I would like to take the time to thank you for providing this review. We strive to provide a high level of customer service and as such, your feedback is invaluable. Regarding the issue of "robo-calls", all alarm calls, fire and security, are handled by live operators. In the event of an alarm, the alarm agent will call the premise phone first. If there is no answer or if the voicemail picks up, they disconnect the call. We do not leave messages on home phones in the event of an alarm for safety reasons. This would explain why you are not receiving any messages on the home phone. I'd be more than happy to go over your account with you and can send you a copy of your event history which shows all the calls made regarding recent alarms. I apologize for any inconvenience this procedure may have caused you. We are more than happy to work with you to set up special call instructions for your account. "I am sincerely sorry that you feel Evergreen Security did not live up to your expectations; however, I was rather surprised and taken aback by this review. Evergreen Security has always been a company that puts the customer first and we have made every effort to provide you with highest level of customer service. In this specific case you indicated that we “did not file paperwork correctly or monitor correctly…” The required monitoring documents were sent to you via email on 12/27/13 and it was explained to you that these documents were needed in order to set up the monitoring and put the account “live”. This was also the day of your scheduled installation which was to be at 8:30 a.m. The techs arrived at approximately 8:38 a.m. as verified by our GPS Tracking System. They completed the installation and left the site at 11:34 a.m. This was the first and only installation date scheduled for your site. A call was placed to you on 12/29/13 and a message was left regarding the monitoring documents. We never received a response. An email was sent to you on 01/06/14 again requesting the documents and noting that the account was not yet live due to lack of monitoring documents to which you replied via text message, “No shxx, thanks for dropping the ball, ill get the paper work to you at my earliest convience”. We received no contact after this message and no response to messages left for you. The account had been receiving daily signals since the install on 12/27/13; however, was in a test status awaiting the monitoring documentation as required. We received the monitoring documentation which was first requested on 12/27/13 when you came into the office on 02/19/14 at which time the account was updated with the appropriate information and immediately taken off test status. We have and always will put the safety and security of our customers first. Unfortunately, we have to follow procedures set forth by local and state agencies including law enforcement and fire districts which require us to have accurate contact and passcode information on an account before it can go live. All in all you are correct in that we were not monitoring your system from day one; however, our staff made every effort to get this required information from you. Again, I am sincerely sorry you are unsatisfied with our services but I believe our administrative staff and technicians treated you with the high level of courtesy and professionalism that Evergreen Security is known for and will continue to provide to all our customers going forward."

The water bug was submerged, the alarm went off at the company, but they did not contact us. They said the info had been entered incorrectly into their system. I expected at least a written apology or some sort of compensation, but that did not take place. We've used them for years. This is really the first time that we've had a mishap.
