CAR TOYS

Went into this location today & asked if they could install some HID headlight bulbs in my 07 Mercedes. Thru conversing with the representative we discovered that the bulbs I had may be the incorrect size. To which I replied OK I can get a pair of the H7's, how much will it cost to get them swapped out? The representation asked me to wait while he checked with his installation manager. He came back & said "You'll have to take it to Mercedes" I replied, to change a bulb? He replied "yea cause you might have to take the bumper off"... Nether of these clowns even looked at the car... I replied I know for a fact that you don't have to take the bumper off, you do in order to change the entire lens which I just had done, I just want to swap the Low-k bulb for a higher-k bulb? He replied well "he won't touch it"... This was a manager's answer.... This "manager" is either didn't understand the question or is completely ignorant. Regardless he sent a customer out the door for something he was clueless about. These are some ignorant people, I wouldn't take a bicycle to them.

Dropped my car off at their location. Received a call later advising me that I needed an additional part which they failed to identify when inspecting the car interior the day before. Not wanting to spend additional funds for the part, I said I would come get the car and take it to a dealer to see if they had a similar item they could install. Got a call back a short time later from Car Toys saying they would honor the original price and include the missing part. I was surprised but appreciate Car Toys decision. Thank you, Car Toys, for your professionalism. Thje system works perfectly

I purchased a Kenwood Pioneer in-dash DVD unit and Headrest DVD Monitors for my truck during their Tent Sale in July of 2013.
It was the biggest purchase mistake I have ever made. First off, the Pioneer in-dash DVD they sold me went defective within in 3 days. I then purchased a Kenwood DNN990HD unit for $100 more and that went dead in less than a week. When they installed the DVD headrests they broken the clips that hold my seats together and tried to GLUE them on. YES, GLUE them on! I went back to the dealer and they ordered new clips for my truck and I had to go back to the dealer to have this corrected after numerous visits to have my in-dash DVD units replaced.
Now it is January 2014 and my second Kenwood in-dash navigation unit will not tilt up and down as I noticed that it actually does not fit into the dash kit they installed. Needless to say, Car-Toys is a complete joke. Of my 9 visits to correct installation issues and defective products, the dealer offered me no compensation and no apology. They also never installed my Sirius radio as is on my invoice and installed the incorrect iPod cable. They installed the old cable rather than the lightening cable.
If you are shopping for ANY car audio gear, avoid Car-Toys. They are the bigger joke and a complete rip off.

The amplifier they installed in 2011 was drawing too much power and draining our batteries. Upon the dealers diagnosis and returning to the Everett Car Toys with our warranty they wanted us to wait six weeks while they sent the amplifier in for diagnosis.  We declined and they "claim" to have put a new amplifier in but provided no paperwork or proof and our new batteries continue to drain when not in use.  We will be going elsewhere for resolution.

They were great!! They installed it great into my 99 beetle and they showed me how to operate it

They wanted to do body work for me which I was not interested in.  I will not use them again in the future.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS REALLY GOOD. FIRST I PUT A STEREO IN MY CAR THEN I HAD TO PUT A CAR ALARM IN. I WENT BACK TO THE SAME PLACE SO THAT EVERYTHING WAS ALTOGETHER.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD, MY SON PURCHASED A NEW STEREO FOR HIS CAR AND NEEDED A CAR ALARM FOR IT. BEING THE MOTHER I WAS, QUITE SHOCKED AT THE PRICE THAT HE SPENT.
