We recently hired AW Painting Home Improvement, 206-679-5591, [*** Link removed ***] Lic: AWPAIPH877D4 to clean and stain our 2-year old natural wood fence. They had come highly recommended by our neighbors and then exceeded expectations. The owner showed up exactly when he was scheduled, gave us a fair and equitable estimate, guided us in the choice of materials, and provided a solid, complete written estimate. Two days later, as agreed, he did a thorough pressure wash of the oxidized wood, allowed it to fully dry for two full days, then he and his team crew hand rolled and back brushed the stain into the wood. After each day's work, he and his team thoroughly cleaned up the work areas. We are thrilled with the end result and realize now we got way more results than we had expected. Hire these guys!!!

Everything went well. I gave them the room measurements. Sent a few photos via text messages. Gave me an estimate without coming to our home. Arrived on time, crew worked hard and were done in under two hours

Mr. J. Hernandez, owner of AW Painting, went over all details of this job with me before concluding our agreement, including identification of exactly what was to be done, materials to be used, techniques to be applied, identification of repairs to surfaces I required, schedule, and cost.  He provided a free estimate in writing.  All work was completed on schedule and in accordance with the requirements set forth in our agreement.  I witnessed the performance of entire job, and am very satisfied.  The work was done safely, thoroughly, and with attention to detail.  Great care was taken by the crew not to cause any damage to my home, or to plants on the property.  The cleanup was done to my satisfaction, and the crew was courteous and friendly.  I am completely pleased and satisfied with the results and confident that I received absolute value for money.   I have recommended them heartily to associates, relatives and friends.  Beautiful job, AW Painting.

Juan and his team were great. I had put out a request on a Thursday night for a quick turn job that I needed by the following Tuesday. Juan emailed me the night of my request asking for more details of the job. We set up a meeting for Friday night to look at the unit and get a quote. He was right on time for the quote. We agreed on paint and labor costs right there on the spot and set up the job for Saturday morning. Once again, his team was right on time. We entered the unit and they got right to work. They ended up finishing the whole job in about 4 hours and the results were fantastic.

They did a  great job!  We are so impressed with how quickly and neat he and his team were.   First day they spent prepping the house.  After that it only took about 3 days to complete.  He made some good suggestions and we were happy that we took him up on painting the gutters, they now look like new.  We were a bit worried how our plants surrounding the house would hold up to the project but Juan was very respectful and careful and the plants were left in great shape.  His bid was comparable to others but we really liked his response to our first call and the time he took to explain all the prep work and the staining process.  When they pressure washed the house he even pressure washed the chimney (what a nice surprise)!  We couldn't be happier with his work and will recommend him to our friends.

We are in the process of selling our former WS townhouse, which has been rented for the past two years by a family of four and a dog. Some of the walls needed to be spruced up due to prior efforts to patch and paint that were less than satisfactory. We also had some exterior windows that needed to be painted on and around the caulking and trim.

I was immediately impressed by Juan's professionalism and responsiveness. Unlike other contractors I called, he actually answered his phone right away instead of letting it roll over to voice mail. We arranged a date and time for him to come.

Juan and his wife arrived right on time. We showed them what we wanted done. He made a few suggestions which we thought were very good. They started to work immediately. They covered up all areas surrounding the painting areas so that no paint dripped on the floors, carpets, etc. They worked quietly and swiftly. With two of them, the work went much quicker than expected. When they were done, they picked up all tape and drop cloths. We did not see any stray paint marks anywhere.

The walls they painted look like brand new walls instead of ones that have been repainted. The outside work really improved the appearance of the house.

Juan clearly is a painting professional. He understood the different kinds of paints and surfaces we had and knew exactly what to do with each. Juan and his wife are very pleasant. We hope to hire them again to do some painting work in our new house.

The team was very professional and detail orientated. Overall the job was excellent and to my satisfaction, although getting the job scheduled proved a little difficult as their team was very busy.

Juan is a delight to work with. He is punctual, thorough, and will work with us to keep the costs down whenever possible. He is totally trustworthy and we do not hesitate to leave the house while he is at work. Juan is a professional with all of his work and he is an expert painter. He is fast and his work is impeccable. If we ask him to do any additional work he will let us know if it is not in his expertise area.
We will not hesitate to hire him again for any exterior and/or interior painting work or limited home improvement jobs for either our residential home or our two rentals.

I can't say enough about the work J.J. and his crew did. We feel so lucky to have had them do this work for us. Very professional and thorough in their work and they care very much for the customers. Every day all the trash was taken away and cleanup was perfect. This was a big job that was made to look easy because we had the best. I still look at everything they did and I'm amazed how fast and perfect these jobs were done.
If you need this type of work done J.J. would be your guy. We will be calling him for some other projects soon and I can't wait to work with this group of pro's again. This company is very reasonable cost wise and they get things right the first time.

Juan does high quality work which I appreciate every day when I look at my walls (perfect cutting in) ceilings and trim.

Expertise on materials/ paints. Juan works in many high end homes.
Excellent communication- Juan will do the job precisely as you want it, and is available to discuss matters via phone/ person/ email. promptly. We have had many workers in our home during our remodel and his communication was among the very best. Juan's a very smart guy, and remembers particulars!
His workers (his wife Lourdes often assists and does amazing detail) are not only reliable and competent, they are very pleasant.
Juan worked in our house both when we were home and away. I felt very comfortable giving him access to our house as he is very honest and always secured our home upon leaving. When I was home, I particularly appreciated the and quot;feeland quot; inside my house. Juan and his team are very pleasant and though working hard really seem to enjoy being together.
They are efficient, organized and neat. They clean up nicely after a job.
He stands behind his work.
Flexibility in time and changes.
There are no smokers!
If there is one downside to his business it is that he is demand, so you need to allow time to get on his calendar. However, he did not have an unreasonable timeline either. His work ethic is very strong, so I imagine he must be putting in many hours a week to accommodate jobs.
In summary, we will hire him again!
