HORRIBLE SCAM! Doubling costs After loading their truck. I said No! I disagree, I will not pay double for the same items in the estimate. I did NOT SIGN to change the original estimate. The movers loaded my things, as I was out of state. The movers had the gardener sign, because I disagreed to double the costs. Later, the movers were Untruthful, telling customer service that my husband signed. That is false, my husband is deceased, I am a widow. I did not pay when he told me Double costs, I said NO! They should not have taken my possessions. No one answers the customer service phone, and you cannot leave a message. It directs you leave a text message. After 3 days of text messages, phone calls and emails, No response, until I wrote a review on Angies! Then, customer service mgr Natalie R calls me, saying she got no texts or emails, but notes at least 4 missed calls from me. Natalie stated that lots of people have complained about no one for customer service. Natalie mgr at Allstate wants me to erase my review on Angies. Natalie ‘offered’ to return my possessions they confiscated to my now vacant house for half of the Doubled charges (from the estimate) and an extra 10%. Whoa! Horrible scamming a senior. Natalie R, customer service mgr further threatened me with legal costs for arbitration. DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES doubling the costs when said no! I told the mover NO! I will NOT PAY DOUBLE THE ESTIMATE, No I do NOT agree to double charges. They had the truck loaded, and left. Natalie represents Allstate, not the customer, she said that is her job. I am 70 yr old retired RN, and cannot replace what Allstate is holding Ransom. The DOT and licensing needs to shut down this SCAM. (Federal Way Allstate moving)
