A-ray's Moving Solutions

We hired A-Ray's because there are no hidden fees or add-ons, so it was easier to budget for our move. We were quoted a 4 man crew with 2 trucks. They sent 3 guys with 1 truck because one guy called in sick. The office didn't inform the 3 guys of the original arrangement; they thought a different team was one man short. At the end of the day, the cost was in the same price range that we were quoted; it just took longer at a lower rate. Actually, the lag time between the first and second trips gave me some time to get some boxes unpacked and out of the way, so that worked out well enough. One of the guys left after the first load was delivered so that we'd have a lower rate for the remainder of the day, most of which was spend on assembling furniture. They didn't need 3 guys for that anyway. After he left, we discovered that some hardware pieces to put up shelves in a bookcase were missing. His crew member called, and discovered that he had some in his pocket (I remembered him putting them there because they didn't provide any bags for hardware, and we had packed ours already). He drove back to our house that evening to return them. Overall, it was a good experience. The guys were good natured, worked hard, and were good around our kids. We would definitely hire them again.

Just used A-Ray's service to move from a Seattle high-rise apartment to a house in Kirkland. Overall, they did well. We finished move in little above 5 hours, and everything came intact, without any damage. They were also reasonably priced.
The first good thing about A-Ray's is that they actually respond to your phone calls in time. I had at least called 8 movers but only a couple of them got back, and among those A-Ray's was most prompt and was cheaper by a small margin. During the move Alex was constantly on phone (blue tooth), responding to other customer calls - I really appreciate the importance he gives to responding to calls. And, of course, since he was using blue tooth, that didn't really slow him down.
On the day of move, Alex, Josh and Mark arrived right on time. They were professional, courteous and helpful.
The only small gripe I have is that they underestimated de-assembling my Ikea bed, and kept it till the end. In the end, they had to spend 30 mins just de-assembling. If one of them had started earlier on it, I would have saved 20 odd minutes and hence some money.
I will definitely recommend A-Ray's to my friends..

Back in May 2012, A-Ray's moved me from my rental home to my new condo. They did a fantastic job in that they were efficient and very careful with my belongings. However, now that I've been in my condo for six months, I wanted to do a major re-arranging between two rooms -- the bedroom and my den/home office. In addition, I wanted to move furniture from my business office to my home office.
A-Ray's two-man moving crew was patient, efficient, hard-working and very creative. Once we got the furniture from my office to my home, they helped me re-arrange these two major rooms.
Also, Alex, the owner of A-Ray's was professional and very responsive to all of my needs. He was also extremely fair in how he priced the job. I highly recommend them.

Hands down the best movers I have ever used. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time, and they were extremely careful with all my stuff. And they were nice guys as well. Highly recommended
