Ray reached out within minutes of my Angi request. We talked through what we needed and he came out to scope and estimate the project within a couple of weeks (we weren't in a hurry and have busy schedules). His estimate was very fair. Ray made excellent recommendations for addressing our door issues. He recommended reversing the open/close direction for the door to our primary bath and replacing it. We also needed a door for our tech room with an odd-sized opening. He installed small French doors with glass and custom made the transom window above it. He also fixed a sticking door. Ray was responsive, communicated well, and completed the work as promised. He was meticulous in his work, very easy to work with, and we couldn't be happier!

My husband and I have an old house with beautiful views. It is very bright and light. However, the upstairs was a converted attic and our bedroom was open to the rest of the house. We wanted to put a door in, but were concerned it would be dark and close off the light and the views. We hired Ray because he is a custom woodworker and has built custom doors for decades. Ray went above and beyond our expectations and created such an exquisite, beautiful, incredible door frame and door. It has side lights on either side of it and is double framed glass in the side lights as well as a double framed glass door. This allows the lights and the views to stream in, but it also keeps the sound out. He was wonderful to work with, and when I expressed how important it was to have both the openness and light but also the noise blocked he was creative and had lots of ideas on how to make it happen. He used over 100 pieces to make this custom on custom door. Custom on custom. Form and function!

I hired him to install a large, heavy, beveled, leaded, glass-paned, wide, wooden panel that was taken from an old Tacoma hotel which was torn down and he made it into a beautiful interior door.
