COUNTERFIX INC

This is the second Corian sink I had replaced by Counterfix. First sink was expertly done and looked so good decided to have the second sink replaced too. I ordered the sink and after it arrived called Counterfix.. Arranged for it to be installed for later that week. Installers arrived on the date and time that was agreed on. Installers set up and the Corian sink was cut out of the Corian top.  Next the Corian top was cut for new large sink and the new cut was rounded out, all edges smoothed and polished. Finally the sink was installed and silicone adhesive was applied to make the sink water tight. Lastly  the installers cleaned up all the dust and debris. I couldn't recommend Counterfix more. Used them for two sink replacements, one last year and one this year. They are prompt, courteous, friendly, fast and clean up after themselves. If you want a job done right call Counterfix.

They got the job done in 2 days. The workers were great and very good. The scheduling was great and I had no problems.

We purchased and on Nov 13 received a new 31and quot; GE slide-in smoothtop range to replace a 7 year old Kenmore slide-in range (which had failed to broil after purchasing and installing a new $124 element. Service technician said a new $427 circuit board required to fix the Kenmore.) Called several Corian fabricator/installlers of which one recommended Counterfix to enlarge the range cutout area. Called Counterfix, Lance, late Thursday, Nov 14. Lance asked how soon we wanted the cutout enlarged. He was able to come the next day although he said he had othe work scheduled. Lance arrived as scheduled, explained the heat and cold contrast could lead to Corian cracking, importance of radius cuts vs right angle cuts to mitigate crackiing Corian, history of Corian material and intallation steps, etc proir to enlarging the cutout. Price was high but his experience, knowledge, and training was worth it. Job completed within an hour with minimum dust due to vacuumn machine running during his grinding, polishing and metal taping the new edges of the cutout.

Arrived right on time. Uses a machine that minimizes dust. Finished in about two hours. He was very polite and made sure I was happy with the job. I asked about a little defect in another room, and he fixed it free of charge with a smile, offering advice if the problem happened again. Very satisfied.

We talked with Lance on the phone several times and also emailed him with questions and concerns. I wanted an undermount sink so we needed to be sure it was the right size for the existing cutout. I purchased the sink and faucet. Lance was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was willing to share information from his many years in the industry. While sanding the counters Lance used a machine that captured the dust and so there was very little dust when he was done-great! I am so pleased we found Lance as I didn't think it was possible to change to an undermount sink. We are so pleased with the new sink and renewed look of our countertops.

Called up during inspection phase of home purchase to get estimate, talked with Twee and got estimate for new sink + install labor (un-plumbing and cutting out old, cracked sink, mounting/installing new sink, re-plumbing, clean-up. Also talked with Lance about options and color. Called back after purchase of home to engage to do work. Scheduled acceptable date and Lance showed up with new sink to do work bright and early. Did excellent, quick work and cleaned up pretty well afterwards (lots of Corian "dust"). Also gave me good tips on care and feeding of our Corian countertops and sink and some pretty good plumbing tips, as well. Lance is a real pro and knows his Corian inside and out. We are very satisfied with the look and performance of our new sink and with the work done by Counterfix.

Lance surveyed the job and recommended a total redo of the counter top. He was working on behalf of another subcontractor who stood behind their product and enforced the warranty. The problem had nothing to do with another subcontractor. The other subcontractor paid for the majority of the work and we paid a deductible. We felt that was more than fair and were happy with they stood behind their product. The installer, as it turns out, was not licensed to do this kind of work. Lance and his worker fabricated the counter top off site and brought it in for installation. It was an amazing sight. They were able to cut the hole for the sink perfectly. I still don't know how they managed this. They were then able to install the counter top with minimal collateral damage. Only one piece of tile was chipped. The counter top fit perfectly. We were thrilled with their work and the result.
