Description of Work: We asked Andy Eccleshall to come up with ideas for a mural for our dining room to fit with the ceiling he had painted for us 5 years ago. He came up with several possible looks as a starting point and we were able to quickly decide on the one that worked for us. Andy painted the mural, artistically changing colors to fit our room. Andy was a delight to work with, painted a lovely mural and finished on time and within budget. Our dining room now feels "finished" and is a most delightful room for dinners with friends. We are very pleased with the work Andy has done.

Description of Work: We met Andy at the Seattle Home Show (we'd seen him in several Everett and Seattle home shows). We were particularly struck by a wine cellar view that looked real enough to walk between the casks. We'd been discussing using a blank breakfast nook wall and expanding it by creating an artificial view. He showed us a perspective of a Tuscan vineyard, and we asked whether he could use, rather, an olive grove. He came over some weeks later (as his schedule permitted), took photos of the blank wall in question, and e-mailed us back with the same wall overlaid with an olive grove, with hills in the distance, that was EXACTLY what we had in mind. We set an appointment date for a month later; he came in (we gave him a house key), set to work (at around 6:00 in the morning), and in three days painted the mural you see below. NO tools were involved other than a straight-edge, a set of dividers, a drafting compass, and his paints and brushes - he did the entire work by hand. No projections, stencils, or anything of that sort. When I came home from work on the third day, I was thunderstruck at what he had accomplished. Every leaf, tree, hillside, banister was perfect. The detailing on the railing was unbelieveable - you could see which angle the sun was coming from. The arches were a subtle demonstration of forced perspective; from 10 feet back, if you didn't know better, you could walk out on that porch. Please note: the photos below do NOT do justice to Andy's work. And, no, he ain't paying us. :-)

Description of Work: I had a mural done on a bathroom wall and a large painting done for our bedroom. Andy understood my exact needs from an 'energy' standpoint and did a perfect job of creating the artwork.
