Mike is truly a professional. We got several bids and were very happy with our choice to work with Mike. Our floors are flawless and our friends have already asked for his information. Mike worked with my husband and I for hours on end helping us with details like the stain and color for our floors and the different sizes of flooring planks we could use. After the initial estimate, he provided us with samples that he brought stained in the different wood types we were considering so we got a true idea of what the finished product would look like. He explained the technical aspects of laying a floor like moisture, acclimation of the wood, and why the floor had to be laid in a certain direction; something we never even thought about when we decided to get hardwoods. Each day when we came home is was swept and clean. Mike took care of our home as if it were his own and never left a mess. I was wary of the dustless sanding system at first but was blown away upon my return to see my floor and my house as clean as I left it. Start to Finish Hardwood Floors is a superior company and Mike has been in the business for over 30 years. He knows his craft and his experience alone was reason enough for us to pay a bit more to get an amazing finished product.  I would highly recommend Start to Finish.
