MATUSKA HEATING SERVICE

I used Matuska some 30 years back for my office hvac system. I used them when I needed my furnace replaced. Good job and very competitive pricing. We went awy on vacation and came back to our AC not functioning. Called a different company and was told we needed the AC and coil replaced because it was 27 years old. They came back out a week later to give us a quote. Meantime I called Matuska and he came out and said he could repair it by replacing a filter. He came back a couple days later and found a refrigerant leak, fixed that filled up the refrigerant and we are up and staying cool again. He told us no need to replace. Quote for replacement was $8000 and change vs $1400 to repair. Hard to find a company that will take the time to problem solve and fix the problem vs one that wants to change things out because it's old. Most appliances made years back seem to last longer than the new ones today. He came back to fix it even after 5pm on a Thursday evening which we were so appreciative as most would have deferred to next work day. Before you replace any of your hotwater heater, furnace or AC units, you owe it to yourself to call Matuska. Highly recommend them.

They were wonderful, Keith came out within a few hours with his wife Glenda, immediately answering the phone. I will recommend and absolutely use, again.

We have hot water heat in the house, and boiler in the garage. We use a local firm that has kept it up for now. Well, they take very good care of us. If there is an issue, they will stick with it, until its solved. They did very well, and worked with the carpeting people so everything went smoothly. It took two fellows a number of hours. What I seen them charge for the parts and labor, I didn't find it out of line. I am able to call the man directly. They are always on time. They tell you when they will be here, and they usually are right there.

He damaged the heater when cleaning it, misdiagnosed the problem, and wanted to charge me for unnecessary repair. The price was fine.

They did a really wonderful job. They were actually the lowest price. I called around. They were the ones that had done work on the furnace in here before. I was going to have them come out and fix the furnace because it quit. I got talking to them and it was like the furnace was 20 years old. We talked about it and I decided rather than have a whole new circuit board put in, I just buy a new furnace because the price would be the same anyway. So, they came out the next day. The turnaround was real fast. They would have come out the same day, but I have a wood fireplace in the house. I did not need the service at task. So, they came out the next day, put it in, and did a wonderful job. I have been happy with it ever since.

The furnace just needed some maintenance. Problem resolved quickly and Keith was very responsive. His previous job was close by, so he was here within minutes.

The service technician arrived when he was scheduled to and went right to work removing the old furnace.  When that was accompolished he went to lunch and picked up the new furnace.  It was installed perfectly, works exactly as it is supposed to work, and the technician made sure I was satisfied with the job before presenting me with the bill.
I have used this company to service my heater in the past and have always been satisfied with their knowledge and professionalism.
I will be using Matuska heating again when service for my furnace is required.

I came home to no heat. Technician Keith had an early appointment elsewhere, but came to my home right after he was done and quickly established the problem and fixed it within the hour by replacing my igniter. While he was here he also performed some needed maintenance that was way overdue. He was great - very professional, reassuring and nice! I will most definitely use this company again for my heating needs! I highly recommend this company!

We have used Matuska for many years.

I got up one night and noticed it was cold in our house. Our furnace was still firing up, but not blowing any air through the vents. I called Matuska Heating Service as they'd serviced the furnace a few months earlier when we were in the process of buying this house. John came out and first tried just replacing the capacitor, but... it still didn't work, so he said he'd have to replace the blower motor. The bad news was that our furnace is from the 80s, and that motor isn't easily available these days. He said it might be 2-3 days before he could turn one up, but thankfully, he called the very next morning and said he'd found one and could be right out! He came out and worked for about 1 hour. He charged us for 2-1/2 hours labor total, which I think was a bit more than his actual work time, but considering that he had to make 2 trips to our house, plus order the motor, go pick it up, and had some difficulty installing the darn thing, we can't complain too much. He said it would have been much easier for him to replace the entire furnace, but that would have been around $2000 plus labor, so all in all I think we got a pretty good deal, and the furnace should work for a long time now with the new motor and capacitor. I'd recommend Matuska Heating Service to anyone who needs work on their furnace.

They were responsive and professional. Since he was there he recommended a couple cheap maintenance items that were overdue. Had him do that in addition to getting the furnace turned on. I would definitely use them in the future.

These folks are first class. Fair prices and do not try to sell you anything you do not need. Recommended!

Matuska company understood and provided same-day service at no extra cost. Didn't even ask me to pay at the time of service but invoiced me instead. A class-act with great service.

They are great. It is a father son team and they are very honest and personable. If they are in the neighborhood they will sometimes just stop by to make sure everything is going ok free of charge. They were able to fix my old furnace for $200 when everyone else said it would have to be replaced for over $3000. He put in a lot of manual labor to fix it and charged me a really small fee. I have always been very impressed with this company.

He has done some electrical work for my dad. The price was reasonable. They are very honest. They would tell people whatever the real deal is. People around here have been using them for years. I would continue to use them in the future.
