J B FACTORY CARPETS

I dropped into JB Flooring (unplanned) on my way to other flooring stores in the area. I was helped by Deborah who answered my questions, listened to my needs and made some recommendations. Out of the numerous flooring samples from different stores around town, my husband and I decided to go with a luxury vinyl tile product available only from JB Flooring. Unfortunately, it was pretty much all downhill after this...

Getting a hold of Deborah since our first encounter has been very difficult. I've made several trips and many phone calls (leaving voicemails) into the store and basically feel like I'm begging them to make this sale to me and make sure it comes to fruition. Ray, the store manager, ended up taking a majority of my calls and handling the order for me. Deborah left a voicemail for me to reassure me that the flooring was on its way and would be in the store well within 10-14 days. Here we are, 16 days later and no one can give me a straight answer about whether or not my flooring is even manufactured, let alone if its way to the store for pickup! Supposedly I'll hear back tomorrow morning with some semblance of a more definite answer. I've heard that tune before from them and have been left hanging, so I'm just hoping they actually call me back before the end of the week. It makes me really wish that I could have found the same flooring at another store. It's really too bad because it appeared to be an excellent flooring product. This is an awful time (towards the end of the project) to have to think about making an alternate decision on flooring when it was already so time-consuming to make the initial decision.

I'm sorely disappointed on the level of customer service I've received from this business. My continuous hot pursuit for an answer to a simple question without straight responses leaves me wondering whether they just decided to forget about this customer's order since they already have my money. It dissuades me from considering them for my future flooring projects and even more from the notion of having one of their installers in my home.

I can't say enough good things about how JB handled our project.  Both Steve and Ray were very accomodating while we were choosing flooring and during the insurance settlement portion.  They were eager to answer our many questions and handled all the insurance paperwork to make it an easy process for us.  The showroom in Bellevue is vast!  There was so much to choose from it seemed overwhelming.  Steve walked us through, asked questions about our wants, and helped us nail down our flooring choices with ease. 

When it came to the installation, JB worked with our schedule to accomodate our different deadlines we had with other contractors.  The crew for the tile (Radikal) is first class!  Radik should get an A+ for the tile installation he performed.  He dealt with uneven subfloors and out of square walls and made it look beautiful.  Great job!  Peter installed the laminate quickly and it looks great.  Joel and his crew installed the carpet in less than a full day and did a fantastic job. 

We are so pleased with all the flooring, an A rating doesn't seem high enough.

Very poor installation. Gouged woodwork at edges of carpet. Workers broke table, had to sue, only received 50% of replacement cost.

Deb was very professional, courteous and prompt. She came out to measure, and due to the shape of our room, she had to adjust the original price upward, but it was a reasonable change.  Carpet arrived in the time frame promised, installers were on time, and did an excellent job of installation, old carpet removal and cleanup. Overall, we are very satisfied and would purchase again. By the way, we have received many compliments on our choice from the Karastan Metropolitan line.

When moving our glass table, the carpet installers damaged it to the point that it had to be replaced. JB Factory Carpets refuses to pay anything toward our replacement expense, which was over $1,000.

JB FACTORY CARPETS WERE QUITE HELPFUL. THEY CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE, OFFERED SEVERAL SELECTIONS AND SAMPLES AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS QUICK, THEY DID LEAVE SOME VISIBLE LINES.

THE SALES REP WAS VERY GOOD. AT THE STORE HE HELPED US PICK OUT THE COLOR AND TYPE OF CARPET. WE PICKED OUT SAMPLES FROM OUR HOUSE. THE CARPET INSTALLATION WAS FINE.
