They are a Hospice vet. If you have a seriously ill dog the veterinarians will come to your home, they will work your regular vet. I just recently went through with our Labrador. She was at another kennel and she came back we knew that something was wrong. We finally did some heavier testing and we discovered she had cancer. She had Lymphoma and cancer. For the next month and a half, we went through quite a bit of problems with her physical and the breathing and things like that.

So, the vet would come to the house which is less stressful for an old sick dog. Then when the time came on June 8th to euthanize her, because it was to the point to where she wasn?t able to breathe, she was drowning in her own fluid. It was a very difficult time and they came to the house and put her to sleep at the home.

It was wonderful, but an awful situation, but taking a very old sick dog to the vet for euthanasia is not where you want to be with them. They?re a really good service. I?m not sure if there is a lot of people who might not be able to afford their services. They are quite expensive for the home visit and stuff. There are 2 female vets and they cover North Seattle and where I live for a home visit.

They were excellent. From the period of June 1st thru the 8th, she was at the house almost every day helping us with the situation. They are pricey. Each price is different based on the dog?s needs. She needed a lot of medication, she needed a lot of care, we needed a lot of supportive care, stuff like that. That was a little different, each case is specific, so I think it?s competitive. You get the quality and the personal attention.

They followed us with a card, and sent in the name of our dog they gave to the APACA in the memory of her. They?re just really, really nice, really nice people. They also arrange cremations as well. I even have all 75 pounds of him. They're good.

Dr. Sarah is fantastic to work with. She had been our general veterinarian for many years prior to going out on her own to form Compassion 4 Paws. Since forming Compassion, we have used her for acupuncture for our 14-year old Golden Retriever. Our dog suffers from arthritis basically from old age. She has been undergoing acupuncture with Dr. Sarah for a couple of years now with regular treatments. We noticed a dramatic improvement immediately after the third treatment. (Dr. Sarah said initially that it would take 3 initial treatments before the acupuncture took effect.)
Dr. Sarah has a great compassion for animals and with their owners. And, while we only have used her for the acupuncture since she formed Compassion, she is a very knowledgeable and experienced veterinarian overall.
No hesitation to recommend her and, in fact, an unqualified recommendation that you should contact her.

I tried everything to calm down my poor little dog who suffered from anxiety. Accupuncture worked for my back so I wanted to give it a go for my dog. We are two sessions is and it is totally helping. He is no longer picking fights with his sister who s also a shih tzu and he is no longer bothered by insomnia.
Dr. Sara was great she showed up on time really sweet to my four year old who asked her a million questions and when jake- the dog didn't like the needles she switched to a pulsing light right away.
She was so great with jake constantly petting him and calming him down.
My other dog just jumped in her lap too they both loved her instantly.

I know it sounds strange acupuncture for pets but it really does work And Dr. Sara is the best!
