Description of Work: Apple came out to give us an estimate for hardwood flooring. Of all the estimates we received, Mel's was the most professional, answered all our questions, instilled the most confidence that he would do an excellent job, and included all the options that we were considering. He included the the option of refinishing our parquet and installing red oak elsewhere with or without red oak stair treads,the option of plank flooring throughout our downstairs, wood stair treads, and our upstairs landing in white oak - - and the option of using Santos Mahogany instead of oak. His prices were reasonable. We intend to go with him in the future, but at the time of the estimate, needed a estimate for planning purposes.

 + -1 moreEveryone at Apple was professional, from the initial phone call to the completion of the job. We had numerous bids and Apple's was mid-range, but we felt more comfortable with their level of expertise and knowledge. We felt confident our floor would turn out well and it did.
Description of Work: Tore out carpeting and refinished hardwood floor in large living room.

 + -1 moreI received great service, including passing on to us a discount he received on supplies, that we never would have known about. Floors look wonderful and work absolutely professional. I would hire again in a minute, if I could find another room to put hardwoods in!
Description of Work: They ripped out carpet, installed Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors, stair, and mitered boxes around fireplace and registers.

 + -1 moreWe wanted to have the work started as soon as possible. They were able to fit us in quickly due to a cancellation. The work took two days to complete. The only non-positive comment that I have is that we were not called when the work was complete. I had to call twice to get the update. Besides this, there were no issues. The house was left clean. They were careful to seal off the parts of the house on which work was not being done. The floors look great. I would use them again.
Description of Work: We needed the oak floors on three bedrooms and also a hallway refinished.

 + -1 moreI WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED FROM APPLE. THEY BEGAN WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD; ENDED WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD; AND, THE FINISHED PRODUCT WAS BEAUTIFUL. OVERALL, THE FINISH HAS HELD UP VERY WELL.
Description of Work: APPLE HARDWOOD REFINISHED MY OAK HARDWOOD FLOORS. THEY SANDED AND USED A SWEDISH-TYPE FINISH.
