Did a great job and was able to be there soon after we called them. Couldn't quite get all the roots, but it was also in a difficult place (near a patio). The other places I called couldn't do the work becausethe job was too small, which is understandable. Wouldn't hesitate to use again

Terry has pruned my hedges about 4 times over the last 20 years. The most recent job was completed on 12/6/2011.  He is very prompt in responding to phonecalls, coming by to look at the job site, hear what I want done, and giving me a quote. We then talked about the quote and the job and when he can get it done.
Terry and his crew showed up on Wednesday morning exactly as agreed to.They positioned their large equipment very carefully on the site to make sure there was no damage to the site. His tree man climbed up in the hedge at one end and basically stayed at the top of the hedge, trimming the trees and carefully lowering down branches to the ground crew very carefully so as to not damage any of my wife's perenial garden. They completed about 2/3rds of the job on Wednesday and came back bright and early on Thursday to complete the job.
Getting the height right on this hedge is important to us because these hedges protect our privacy from houses that are up hill from us. Terry's tree man worked closely with my wife to make sure only the right amount of height was removed to maintain our privacy.
At the end of the process I wound up with beautifully pruned hedge at exactly the height I wanted. Terry's people really have a great feel for how to do this work so that the hedges stay looking good.
I've talked to other tree services and Terry is always the best.

I had an extremely large willow tree in my front yard drop a large branch/trunk on my neighbors car.  Willow trees have multiple trunks that spread out at angles and I was worried that the largest branch/trunk would fall on my neighbors house.  It was about 50' tall and leaning out at a 60 degree angle over their garage.  With the inside of the tree exposed it was obvious that carpenter ants had been feasting inside it and I didnt want to chance it.  I called Terry (was recommended by a neighbor) and he came right out and discussed the job and gave a more then fair bid.  He discussed concerns about the risk of climbing on the tree and wanted to use his bucket truck.  Otherwise the bid may have been even lower.  They fell the willow cleanly with no problems and even chainsawed up the tree into rounds breaking teeth on nails the previous owner put in the tree for a fort.  After falling the willow I had him come back out and he gave me another extremely fair bid for removing 5 stumps on my property.  250 inches in total.  I highly recommend and will use again. 

I had Stacy grind out a huge stump in my back yard. She even ground the stump below ground so it looks as if it was never there. The next day Terry and Stacy came back and cut down 2 trees in my front yard both about 50 feet tall. One was between my house and the neighbors fence with maybe 6 or 7 feet between. Terry cut it and dropped it without harming the fence or the gutter on my house. The other tree was next to my driveway and a fence and was cut and dropped without harming either. I was very happy with the work, the price and will have them back again.
