We specialize in condominium exterior envelope re-construction. We do structural repairs and deck reconstruction, painting and waterproof deck coatings and construction defect evaluation and restoration of condominiums. We also provide commercial remodeling and tenant improvements. We are certified to perform infrared evaluations., siding replacement

As the work progressed, we had to spend several thousand dollars more than the original estimate for "change orders", to repair damage that was beyond what was expected in some areas where the siding was rotten. This in itself would have been somewhat understandable and acceptable, except they over estimated and overcharged on the linear feet of siding used for some of the repairs.
Furthermore, after they said they were finished with the entire project, I did a walk around to see if everything had been completed, but there were several repairs that were on the list, but had NOT been done. Unfortunately, I was unable to convey this information immediately to Advantage Contractors, so when we didn't pay the final invoice the owner, Mike Cook got mad at me! This was even though it was his list of repairs, that he created, but his crew did not follow. He eventually did another inspection and admitted that some of the repairs were not done, but after sending another crew out it still was not all done.
To top it off, they refused to paint the repaired areas, claiming that it wasn't in the contract, even though they had always painted repairs that they had done for us on previous jobs. They also flat out lied about replacing water damaged sheet rock behind the siding, when I could see from the inside that it had not been replaced.
In the end the HOA decided to pay the final invoice just to be done with them, even though we had to hire another contractor to finish the job.
The best words to describe Advantage Contractors:
Dishonest.
Inconsiderate.
Scam.
NOT customer service oriented.
Rip off.
