 + -1 moreIt was kind of pricey. The plumber was fine. I thought he was a bit pricey. He knew his work, but I felt that he was trying to sell more services. He came on time. He did the work, but I thought it was too expensive. When I asked him why it was so expensive, he said something like that he has got bills to pay.

 + 0 moreThey called me to reschedule my first quote appointment but they cancelled due to a conflict (it happens). I never heard back from them, so called to see when they could come. They had lost my number and scheduled a time. In the end, they were way overpriced compared to the other quotes I received from other qualified plumbers.
Description of Work: They gave me a quote to install a gas line to kitchen.

 + -1 moreHe's the best plumber. He's a bit pricey but not excessively so. He's always on time. He does excellent work in whatever he does. He does not have a break. He doesn't ever have to come back to fix it or anything and whatever he says he will do, he delivers on it. He's a bit pricey but I'm willing to pay that higher price for that quality of service. I've had him for five to seven years.
Description of Work: He updated all the plumbing connection throughout the house (all the undersink, kitchen, bathrooms) and he did a plumbing inspection. He also put in a new toilet and a new vanity.

 + -1 moreI purchased a new larger stack washer/dryer for one of my units, to fit the 27.5 inch opening. However, forgot that the water pipe handles stuck out into the space allotted for the dryer walls. Called 3Dog on Monday, he was out either Tues or Wed, pulling the new unit out, crawling in an behind the unit quite a few times to get the wallboard cuts made, the faucets installed and tested, then re-hooking up the hoses, the vent, and cleaning up the floor. He was amazing!!!! I will definitely continue to use him for my own home and my rentals.D 106th Avenue NE

 + -1 more3 Dog Plumbing came right away and checked my garbage disposal out. He said, "There's nothing wrong with the plumbing. Call an electrician." He never charged me a penny. He came out and did the inspection for free and told me what I really needed. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Description of Work: My garbage disposal quit working and not knowing exactly who to call I consulted Angies list (of course) and called 3 Dog Plumbing. He called me back and since he was in the area where I live he said he'd come by that afternoon. This he did, checked out my disposal and couldn't find anything wrong witlh the plumbing. He suggested that I call an electrician to see if it was an electrical problem. As he couldn't identify the problem he didn't charge me at all!!! In the future when I am in need of plumbing help you can be sure I will be calling 3 Dog Plumbing,

 + -1 moreMy first experience with Chris was the replacement of the damaged floor ring, and I've called him for every plumbing job since then. I don't recall how I came upon him, I think it might have been our realtor. There have been times when Chris' schedule was such that it might be a week, or even two, before he could get to my work, but I refuse to have someone else do the work if it can wait. I can usually patch something until he can get to it (not knowing he replaced water heaters I had someone else, one of the "majors" replace a water heater for me several years ago; did I ever get ripped off). His charges are very reasonable-excellent work, fair prices.
Description of Work: My wife and I own three Adult Family Homes in Kirkland and a rental house in West Seattle, and Chris Burleigh has worked in all four properties performing services such as replacing a badly damaged toilet base mounting ring, repairing a shower drain leaking onto the ceiling of the lower level (a rather challenging job given the way it was installed originally); replacing undersized dryer vent piping in the crawl space of one house in Totem Lake, finding me a contractor to replace a cracked shower stall in this same house (contractor actually replace the plastic walls with a laminate made for showers - excellent job); replaced leaking section of hot water piping in other house in Totem Lake (again in the crawl space); replaced all fixtures, including the tub drain, in the main bathroom in my house in West Seattle during a remodel-for-sale. The tub drain was of particular concern to me as the brass plating had long ago eroded and it looked very, very poor.

 + -1 moreSince the owner, Christ Burleigh, was already working in the neighborhood, he only charged me $50 for labor and $40 for two faucet cartridges. He showed up exactly on time, was very polite and had the parts I needed on his truck. Considering the charges other plumbers wanted to apply just for showing up, Chris was a real bargain and I can't see how I would have done any better with others who wanted to charge more.
