Faithsteps Housecleaning

I was looking for housecleaning services to be performed at my home every other week on an ongoing basis.  The reason that I was unhappy with this company was because after the woman at the Faithstep's office gave me a quote on how much it would cost to clean my house, she informed me that she could not initiate the first cleaning service until she had a credit card number from me.  I told her that this was the first time that any cleaning company had asked for my credit card to perform cleaning services and she said that this was standard procedure for her company and that they would not come to clean my house without it. 
I needed the cleaning services because of a medical issue with my foot,  so I reluctantly agreed to give it to her based on our agreement that she would not be charging my card for any services and that it was just a guarantee.  I told her that I wanted to pay by check and not with my credit card.  She tried to get me to allow her to charge my card the day before services were to be performed but I told her that was not acceptable and that I am the customer and that I should be able to use whatever form of payment I would like.  We agreed that payment would be in the form of a check and that I would give it to the girls on the day of cleaning.
However, that is not what happened.  Faithsteps charged my credit card after agreeing not to, and then I was giving the girls a check on the day of cleaning.  In essence, I was paying Faithsteps twice.  After the first incident on the initial cleaning, they called to apologize for the inconvenience and reversed the charges and said that this would not happen again.
On the second cleaning, two weeks later, I decided to check my credit card charges on-line and they did it again, charging my card the day before.  This time, I did not give the girls a check on cleaning day because my card had been charged and no one from Faithsteps called concerning the mistake. 
Later that day, Faithsteps called and said that they made a mistake again and had reversed the charges to my credit card.  However, they wanted payment from me immediately.  I said that I could drop a check in the mail to them that day, but that was not good enough.  The women from the office, I believe Carol was her name, said that she would drive to my home right now to collect the check.  I was floored.  This spoke volumes to me that this company doesn't trust any of their customers. 
I decided I was not going to give them another chance and found someone else to clean my home.

Excellent experience.  Courteous and professional staff that performed their job flawlessly!  Very pleased with them!!

Overall a great experience! Ladies that arrive to clean are very nice, professional and get the job done!  They also are very good to my three dogs! They call ahead to remind me of my apointment, and arrive on time.  They clean in teams of two or three and get busy immediately!  They work hard, and fast as to not disturb me, or stay any longer than necessary to get the job done
