I had bought my wife a very cheap computer to use when we travel. It was so slow it was useless. I went to this computer repair shop and I told them I wanted to know if there was anything they could do to speed it up. I told them I was trying to decide if I should just write off the four hundred dollars I had paid for the computer or if with a little investment it could be useable. When I went to pick it up, they had done a "clean-up" on the computer. It ran exactly as it did before (you can make yourself a cup of coffee during the time it takes to load a page). When I said to the counter person, "It's exactly as slow as it was before, and I'm not any better off--and I'm $100 deeper into this thing." The counter person repliced, "Oh, it's slow. That's normal." Normal for the morons who run Computer Park. But I guess they aren't complete morons, because they got a hundred dollars out of me for doing nothing.
