The crew showed up punctually and went right to work. They did a fabulous job of cleaning up all beds, lawns, patios and decks. I also had them skirt the ivy off of my trees around the fence line. Couldn't be happier with B&B and will continue calling them for my lawn care needs.

The entire experience with B&B was excellent. Rick and his crew were punctual, professional and pleasant. I am very pleased with all the work that was completed around the house ... I plan to continue using this business for my on-going maintenance and my neighbor is interested in hiring them as well!

After the initial service I almost did not recognize my own yard. Everything is beautiful. The trees had been trimmed, not sure they had ever been trimmed by previous owners. The yard was perfectly cut and edged, and all the clipping had been cleared away. But the best part is the gardens in the front yard now now look amazing. I don't think if I had spent weeks on it I would have ever gotten it to look this wonderful. I can't say thank you enough.

Quick response. Personally met with me to listen to my wants and needs for the yard. After the initial service I almost didn't recognize my own yard. I was looking for someone to take care of our landscape areas, except the lawn.  So I was looking for a company that could do good pruning.  We were very pleased.  Three gentleman worked all day on our 1/4 acre residential lot, and left it looking park-like.  All areas were well cleaned, and each shrub was pruned in a way that really defined them.  Branches that I had left from my attempts at pruning were removed along with the other refuse.  Just as a coincidence some good friends of ours who had not been by for a couple years stop by for a visit the next day (not knowing of the work), and boy were they impressed.  I think they always thought we kept it looking so good.  But from now on with Buds and Blades I believe I found a landscape company that can help me keep it that way.

Buds & Blades did a great job. Very professional. My lawn looks great without all the moss and it's lush, green and growing. Very easy to work with Rick Longnecker. I really appreciated that he supported our desire to have a nice lawn without poisoning the watershed. Always happy to give my business to a local business with roots in the Olympia area.

My experience with them went very well. They were very good with communication. I had arrangements with them and they came out very promptly. They were very nice and gave me an estimate right away, on sight and we scheduled a new time frame. I was hoping to get things done in Thanksgiving week, but they were not sure if they could fit me in at that time. They were able to, so they gave me a call a few days beforehand and said they would come out early and they did. They came out on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The work they did was excellent. My yard has never looked that good. The two gentlemen who came and did the work, they were very calm and they were courteous and they did a wonderful job, very quick. At the end they wanted to make sure that I had a chance to come out and see everything and if I had any questions or anything else additional needed to be done. They really wanted to do the follow-through.

We have been using their services for about two and a half years. We have closely with the owner, Rick Longnecker. The work has turned out just fine.  Their cost has been reasonable and they are very reliable.

The owner, Rick Longnecker, is honest and has been a longtime friend. He and his family have a great reputation around the area. I am happy with the price he charges. They’re terrific and are there when we need them. They do a good job with the work!

We have used them many times for at least five years. They have come every time we have needed them and done an excellent job.  We have worked closely with Rick, the owner. He is very easy to work with and is very accommodating. What I like is that he listens to me and they do exactly what I want. Rick always takes very good account of what I want and gets it done. He trains his crew very well and sends them to class to learn all of the techniques. They are all very friendly and have done a great job.

I contacted Rick via his website and got a very prompt response to come out and perform an estimate of the job.  He was able to provide the estimate and schedule the job within a week of my initial contact with him.  His crew arrived promptly and got to work.  I wasn't able to witness the entire days work, but what I did see (about 4 hrs worth) they worked very quickly, carefully and diligently.  They removed a massive amount of foliage and the remaining shrubbery looks very manicured.  The reestablished lawn edge isn't so abrupt as to cause a tripping hazard.  The mulch was brought via a large dump truck and was placed without leaving a trace on my concrete.  They cleaned up everything so well.  Not a stick or leave remained anywhere and my yard looks magnificent! 
I am capable of doing this kind of work myself...but...It would have taken me at least 5 to 6 weekends and wouldn't have looked as good.  I would also have probably had to purchase some extra equipment for a one time use.  This definitely took the hassle factor out of this job.  I love having these kinds of results in only one full day of work!  I will definitely look to Buds and Blades for future landscape work!
