In the process of having the house painted, we discovered that what we thought was old water damage was really an active leak in the roof.  This was found in January, and a particularly wet January.  Because of storm damage many roofers were unable to even send an estimator out for a month, but Andrew was able to come within a few days, and even though it was a somewhat drizzly day, found the leak and did a quick repair.  Because of subsequent storms, it took another 10 days before there was a dry enough day to return and do a more extensive repair.  We've had a few more rainy days since with no evidence of water, so looks like it's fixed,although we'll be more reassured when things remain dry for a more extensive period.

It went better than I expected. Andrew was very involved and a good communicator.  The timeline was right on.  The crew was professional.  The area was cleaned up each day and at the end they even pressure washed my driveway due to a spill of some sort.  I highly recommend Unique!

He is thorough and really helped me. They were like A-plus-plus. I would hands-down used them in future.

We bought a new house that had some serious roofing needs on the detached garage and carport. We reached out for some bids and thought we could take care of it in the Spring/Summer, but after discovering some leaks, had a more urgent need. Andrew came out for the estimate. What I liked about Unique Roofing, was they were local for us, and I worked with Andrew from start to finish. The other companies had someone out for the bid, someone else doing the follow-up, and someone else coming out for the work. Andrew also offered the most competitive pricing. I called Andrew to let him know about our leaks and he was out the next day to discuss and we had a new roof on by the end of that week. I felt like Andrew and Manuel really cared about our issues, and worked with us to fix them in the most cost effective manner. We are also having issues with the metal roof on our house, and Andrew crawled in our attic, lifted up all kinds of nook and crannies to understand what was going on with our roof. Again, I felt cared for as a customer in that they didn't just want the job, but want to take care of our roofing needs. I can't recommend Unique Roofing enough.

Andrew was very helpful by getting out here within a couple days to investigate leak in my roof.  Everyone else I called was at least 5-7 days or longer.  He diagnosed the leaking area and we also discussed addressing another area on my roof where water did not flow properly.  We also decided that due to age and cracking, I should replace all my roof exhaust vent flashing.  While it did take 3 days to get a bid, the bid he gave me competitive (based on 1 other bid I got), and his crew was on the job within a week of my contact.

His crew was punctual and very communicative and friendly.  Manuel, really knows roofing and pointed out some other areas for me to be aware of, as my composition roof is 18 years old.  They did a very thorough, complete and good job.  They cleaned everything up after they were done and checked with me several times to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction.

I would definitely use them again, and when the time comes, I will get a bid from them to replace my roof.

Andrew is extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. He carefully examined the existing roof, provided a detailed estimate, and explained all the pros & cons with the various roofing options. We wanted the highest quality shake roof possible, and Andrew sourced the most beautiful cedar shakes I've ever seen.

His workers are neat and professional. They cleaned up after themselves everyday, and finished in less time than promised. They always arrived on time, were quiet (no loud music or excessive chatter), and went about their business with extreme care. It was blistering hot weather when they did their work, but they kept going without complaining or making excuses.

The best part of all was the quality of their work - unbelievable craftsmanship! I feel very fortunate to have had such a beautiful roof installed, and realize now that it's made a huge difference in the house's appearance. I feel good every time I look at my roof, and know that it's added resale value to the home as well.

The experience went well, I had a very hard time finding a roofing contractor interested in doing a roof repair.  Andrew was able to come out quote and complete the work on the same day.  He explained the problem and the fix, also inspected the roof for other issues and luckily didn't find any.  Would definitely use again for any further repairs or for complete re-roof.

I had a new composition roof put on my house to replace my 19-year old cedar shakes on 5/17/2014.  I got several bids on my roof and settled on Unique Roofing Company because the price was competitive and the customer service was really outstanding. 

Andrew Ramerman, the owner of Unique Roofing, gave me a thorough explanation of the process and products involved in getting a new roof. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the mystery out of the project for me. His bid included specific materials to be used and when questioned, he provided detailed explanations of each product and a description of the quality of the materials. He also showed me a precise arial-view drawing of my roof and showed me what materials would be used for each feature. 

In comparison, my other roofing bids seemed only interested in giving me the cheapest roof possible, which substantially reduced the quality of the materials they would be using. Andrew was very sensitive to my budget restrictions and patiently showed me where I might be able to reduce the price by altering some of the materials and also where I would definitely not want to choose cheaper materials.

 During my decision process, Andrew provided me with several local addresses of houses with the roof styles I was comparing. After looking at about 20 houses I made the decision to upgrade my original roof selection to the designer shingles. Andrew also provided me with a link to a website where he had set up a picture of my house with the ability for me to “try on” different roofs. I thought this service was a nice touch and it was something I really appreciated. At no time during the process did Andrew try to up-sell me out of my comfort zone. He was supportive of whatever choices I made but also willing to give advice when I asked for it. 

All in all, my roofing experience was very positive and I am extremely pleased with the finished product. Unique Roofing delivered everything in the contract and there were no hidden costs. The crew was pleasant and they took care protecting my property and did a fantastic job of clean-up afterwards. 

The quality of the workmanship is outstanding and the level of customer service I received is practically unheard of these days. Their commitment to excellent customer service may be one of the most “unique” things about Unique Roofing. I really felt that I could trust Andrew to do right by me and his company definitely delivered.
