I interviewed several contractors for my addition and addition and I chose Andrew because I felt like he was straightforward with the project and the risks that come with a remodel of an 80 year old house along with the primary suite addition. Through the design phase, we never felt pressured to make decisions, but were kept informed of the timing of the project and when we needed to make decisions in order to schedule the project in a way that minimized the impact to our family. Andrew walked us through each item in the contract and worked with us to make changes to fit our budget and kept us informed on what we could expect for changes for a project like ours. Once we were out on contract, Andrew helped push permits through county and kept us informed on what we could expect for duration and timing of the project. Once the work began, Andrew and his right hand man Rod worked efficiently and coordinated the project beautifully to minimize the amount of time that we were displaced from our home. Thoughtful suggestions were made to deal with the numerous issues that come with renovating an 80 year old house and Andrew supported my questions on cost impact and the criticality of each change to keep me informed so that we could make decisions that we felt comfortable with. Andrew and his team of subcontractors were all very friendly and respectful of our family, never making myself, my wife, or 3 kids feel unsafe at any time. Even with the changes to the scope of work, Andrew and his team made good on the timeline of the project, completing everything in 3-4 months as promised when we started. The layout and design of the remodel and addition have surpassed our expectations, everything that we did has really made our home both more beautiful and more functional. I would highly recommend Treiber Building and have done so to several family members and colleagues at work. The experience was as positive as I couldâ ve hoped and the results are outstanding.

We hired Andrew (Treiber Building LLC) to complete a kitchen remodel, remove an existing wall, install a new pantry and new powder room. His crew started on time and were here every morning working away, they were also all very cordial. Andrew is a nice guy but does not seem interested in the fine details, for example he really did not want to paint any of the trim , baseboard or doors that we had him install in our pantry and bathroom. He said it was an extra price for that but when I showed him the contract where it said he agreed to paint it, he went ahead and had his crew paint. Also, he really pushed for his team to install the new flooring in our home instead of the flooring company we bought the flooring from. When his installer began an H pattern install (which is not recommended by any floor installer- we confirmed with the flooring company and they laughed that any installer would install floors in that fashion) we told Andrew and his foreman and they did change it when we pointed it out. The foreman even said they never do it in that pattern, however, neither the foreman or Andrew were here on the day of the initial floor install. Currently, the floor squeaks all over the place. Additionally, all the electrical work was installed by one of his employees, who was very pleasant and nice, but who is not a licensed electrician. To my knowledge, no licensed electrician worked on our project. After the project was over I went in the attic to move a cable wire and noticed that where he removed a wall and patched it up with new sheetrock, there was no insulation. I contacted him about that and he did come out to put insulation in, but it was clearly an oversight (one that I would not have noticed if I had not been in the attic). What has prompted me to write this review is that the floors are still squeaking and the sheetrock where he removed the wall (the one where he forgot to put in insulation above) is separating and I have repeatedly contacted him to come and repair it (and the floors). He has simply not responded (other than once to say he would fix it but that he is busy), that was well over two months ago and he has ignored my repeated texts for the repair. It appears that he has some larger projects that have his attention and certainly he and his crew need to move onto other projects, but we paid for a complete service. He even commented, we do not even do projects this small anymore; - a $75,000+ project. There were just little issues that do not seem professional, like we had to complete the install of an oven hood ourselves (finish the screws and install the filters) and I had to patch a hole where a can light was removed. The trim around the doors to our new pantry and powder room also now have cracking at the corners. Again, he is a nice guy but the little details get overlooked and really we felt a bit nickeled and dimed. He was supposed to put in the door handles on the pantry and bathroom but I just did it myself when it was obvious they were not going to do it, even though we paid for it and I reminded him but they were already onto their next project. Also, we will still need to have someone else fix the gap in the sheetrock and fix the squeaking floors as he has just forgotten about us entirely. EDIT: Andrew has come out to fix some of the items here, and an additional leak that developed after they installed the toilet which I appreciate.

We had a great experience working with Treiber Building LLC. They were great at communicating every step of the way and provided great suggestions which helped guide our decision making. The billing process was transparent. The quality of the work was excellent and we were able to work through issues that came up, which is inevitable in a project the size of our renovation. We faced additional challenges due to the Corona Virus lock down but they handled this professionally while adhering to all state guidelines. We could not be happier with their service and plan to go to them for future work.

They were really clean, their work is really appreciated, very artistic, employees were on time and they were skilled carpenters.

We contracted Treiber Bulding to remodel and awkward basement. Our primary contact was with Andrew, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. His crew was fast and efficient and knew how to work around the awkward space. Andrew recommended additions to the plan that he know would really make the project pop. He was always budget conscious and made if clear to me the costs associated with any changes we might want. When completed the project was beautiful and many of my friends have commented on how awesome the space is, while asking who was the contractor. I highly recommend Treiber Building!

Treiber Building is great. When we had an issue with flooring installed by one of Andrew's crew, he was quick to acknowledge the problem (if you have done much remodeling you will know this is not always the case) AND to take steps to fix it to our -and his - satisfaction. This earns him at least a 6 out of 5 for customer service, in my opinion.

They showed up on time and consistently moved the project forward daily. All workers were friendly, competent, and cleaned up each day before they left. The owner, Drew, had some great design ideas that were very creative and unique. It was a fixed price project and we had no surprises. The work was of outstanding quality. Included in the work was a custom entertainment center, an additional French Door in master bedroom, all upgraded wood molding, and full house repainted. Andrew is a true Craftsman who gives attention to detail. Extremely professional, yet with a fun sense of humor that made all of our interactions enjoyable. Quality work.
