Amazed by the team of experts that were at my property for two days, completely changing our landscape. After evaluation and discussion, we agreed to remove the tree. Buck was great to work with and arranged for another company to grind the stump after.

The large maple was on a steep hill next to my fence, and Buck and his team worked with the utmost care as they cut down the tree to ensure nothing damaged the fence. He and his crew worked were prompt and worked very hard. His wife, who manages the business, was prompt in returning our call and scheduling a walk through. Buck walked with us throughout the property discussing our various trees and the best options for them. I had several questions for him, and he was happy to go through the details with me.

Buck is an outstanding tree climber. I have several years experience working with a tree service myself. He is careful and pays attention to safety. His attitude is great and he clearly enjoys his work. I've watched his business grow over the past few years and I admire his good business sense. Having worked around many tree climbers I can say that Buck is as at the top level of skill.

Buck did a great job. He came out immediately during the storm and removed the weight of the tree off our roof, helped us cover the holes in our roof to protect against elements and advised us to leave all debris for insurance inspection. This was good advice as the insurance company also required this. After the insurance inspection, Buck and his assistants made a second trip out to remove all debris. We have used his services previously. Always professional, safety conscious of people and surrounding property. We will continue to use Swift should we need future tree removal or limbing work.

I have had Buck remove trees from my yard on three sepearate occasions. Each time he and his crew have done an excellent and professional job.

Swift Tree Care did an excellent job! Buck was friendly and easy to work with, as well as very professional and highly knowledgable. He offered helpful suggestions and alternatives to facilitate the tree work I needed to have done. Buck and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. The guys were skillful in their teamwork to get the job done efficiently and with care. They took pride in their work and truly seemed to enjoy doing it. When they finished they also took care to clean up. All in all, I am satisfied and highly pleased with their excellent work and would hire them again.

WARNING: While this vendor's page on Angie's List indicates they accept credit card payments, I discovered that they only accept cash/checks. I was not prepared to pay cash so found myself having to transfer funds. Disappointed.


My very first interaction was the initial phone call with Buck's wife, Amy who was extremely friendly and very professional. Both Amy and Buck arrived the next day to review the project and provide an estimate. After I shared my concerns, Buck took his time surveying the property and alerted me to other danger trees that we weren't really aware of. To allow plenty of time to accomplish the work, we scheduled a week for Buck and his crew to get the work done.
Buck is onsite working alongside his crew the entire time. They arrived around 8:30 to 9:00am and worked consistently throughout the day, typically wrapping up around 4 to 4:30. We had some very old and large cotton woods adjacent to both my neighbors' property and along the main roadway but they took these trees down skillfully, ensuring we didn't encroach on our neighbors' property.
As impressed as I was with the crews' workmanship, their respect for your property was even more impressive. I was concerned about what a mess this size of a job would leave but these guys were raking, picking up debris, blowing my driveway clean through out the day. At the end of each day, the yard looked fantastic. They even arranged to have multiple loads of firewood hauled away so I didn't have to mess with it. We also removed some poorly placed smaller ornamental trees and they would rake and fill the holes so everything looked clean.
You will not meet a more polite and friendly person as Buck Swift! He has a tremendous and quot;can do and will doand quot; attitude and was always willing to answer any questions I had as the work progressed. In the past 6 months I have had the window cleaned, granite and travertine restored, cherry wood floors restored, carpets cleaned, and misc yard projects completed. Of all the services recently provided, without doubt, Swift Tree Care stands above them all.
We plan to have Buck come back in the fall to address a few additional trees the we opted to leave for now.
I can not over state how happy you will be with Buck Swift taking care of your trees.

Excellent job start to finish!

I was impressed by the speed and efficiency with which Buck and his crew removed the three trees. I think this outfit is professional and I would definitely use them again.

Have had 4 trees removed, brush cleared and the tree line trimmed back. They always do a great job in checking out the property for any dangers and have great rates. They leave everything clean and I don't have to worry about anything when they are working.

This is the second time we have hired Buck to trim or cut down trees. We got a bid from him on a Sunday and he cut and trimmed the trees on Monday. He is very knowledgeable as an arborist and his prices are reasonable. The only glitch was a 4-week lag between cutting the trees and getting the stump grinder out, but both were completed to our satisfaction. I recommend them for any tree service.

We got several estimates for the removal of a medium sized fir and pine that were going to be in the way of some future driveway work. In addition there was a dead alder leaning precariously over a neighbors fence to be removed and an extra large fir with tons of dead branches that needed some clean-up and thinning. Swift's Tree Service came out promptly to give us their estimate and offered us the most reasonable price. We decided to have them do the work.
It took a while to get the work scheduled...nearly a month. But on the appointed day Buck and company showed up on time and got right to work. It was clear that Buck knew what he was doing. Even the dead alder came down with no damage to the neighbor's fence. And they did a great job of cleaning up and piling the wood rounds and chips where we requested.
We will definitely contact them in the future when we need tree service.

Buck was cutting down a tree for our neighbor so I asked for an estimate to prune our trees. He was upfront and told me that my trees were old, diseased and not worth pruning but he could take them out for a reasonable price. I was shocked (did not think they were ~that~ bad) so I said I would think about it. A wind storm two weeks later broke off a huge part of one tree so I called Buck back and he honored the price quoted for taking out the trees. He and his team did a great job of cleaning up as well as setting me up with someone to have the stumps ground down. I will definitely use Swift Tree Care again.

I liked them. He did a great job. It is the second time I have used him. His prices were less than everyone else. I have used other tree companies before. He did what he said he was going to do. I would definitely hire him again and definitely recommend him. He came out and gave me a bid. I just think very highly of him. He was prompt.

Contacted Buck for free estimates. Buck was responsive and on time to provide the free estimates.

Work was scheduled to remove a large evergreen tree and prune a maple tree the following week. Work was completed on sceheduled date and time with no issues.

The work area was cleaned up and all logs were removed.

The overall experience was good. He did more than the estimate required, cleaned up all material.
