Used him once in the summer of 2021. All I needed was a rough cut on a farrow pasture because our tractor was out of commission. He went far above and beyond, and pulled a bunch of our out-of-control blackberries. It looked so nice after he was so done! Exceptional work!

We hired Gary to remove some overgrown blackberries. We had a huge hedge of blackberries around 3/4 of our property. I hired Gary to remove about 70 feet of them as I expected that would be all he would be able to do in the 4-hour minimum that I could afford. He arrived precisely at the scheduled time and after a brief walk around and discussion, he got to work. This guy is an artist with the backhoe! The way he could manipulate it to access the tightest area was impressive. He was able to complete all that I had expected and much, much more in the allotted 4 hours! He was able to clear out far more than I had originally thought, removing all of the invasive blackberries around our property, moved 2 piles of dirt, and did it all in a very professional manner. He also removed a couple of small trees and remains of a couple other dead trees. He left no mess or debris to deal with. We are eminently satisfied with the work and would not hesitate to hire him again. I highly recommend him!! Tom on Camano Island

I had limited funds so only requested Gary's minimum of 4 hours of tractor work to do some miscellaneous cleanup tasks on about 1.5 acres of overgrown property, with haul-out and disposal of as much debris as could fit in one small trailer load. Gary showed up on time and we did a walk through so I could show him what I wanted. I knew that there was more work than he would be able to complete in the 4 hours, and more debris than would fit in one trailer load, but told him to do as much as he could, and haul off as much as he could, leaving the rest for next time. He accomplished nearly all of my list, certainly more than I ever expected in the allotted 4 hours. As expected, he left a small pile that wouldn't fit in the trailer, but consolidated it all in one neat out-of-the-way pile that will be easy to load up another time. He was very professional and pleasant to work with, and exceeded my every expectation. I am really impressed with the amount of work he completed in such a short time and I will definitely have him back to do more in the future.

He shows up on time, ( if not a little early) works hard and is polite and professional. He is a FAST worker. he doesn't sit and stare to waste time or take random 15 min smoke breaks ( like Ive had other contractors do) , he will keep going until the job is finished. His prices are good- Ive compared. Not the cheapest , but you get what you pay for. I would strongly recommend him for any digging work or projects that require an excavator.

Gary's services are fantastic. He is punctual and extremely professional. He arrived early and got to work immediately. His equipment knowledge and use of his backhoe and truck are very good. He makes safety an utmost priority and wouldn't leave until I was completely satisfied everything was exactly the way I wanted it. I would HIGHLY recommend Gary for any tough jobs you have on your property.

I found Gary through Craigslist and contacted him. I was attracted by his price of $450 for 8 hours of work with his small Kubota B21. He said he could get my punch list completed in one day. He showed up on time at 09:00 AM and get to work. I was not sure how the fountain was going me be moved, but Gary connected some forks on the front of his bucket and had the fountain moved in 15 minutes after starting. By 1 hour the first three items where complete. I paid Gary $50 extra to recycle the concrete stem wall and save me the expense of breaking it up and having it hauled away later. The main reason I hired him was to dig the trench for my new water service line. He had that dug by 11:30. At this point I had received what I needed to be done and we continued to the back yard. The two stumps took minutes to remove and Gary hauled all the stumps away for free. The concrete culverts were a challenge since they consisted of 6 pieces and were buried down to about 6 feet. It took about an hour to dig them out and fill the hole. The last item of leveling the ground next to the rear fence took the longest. Gary doesn't use a lot of fancy gimmicks and doesn't laser level excavations. I set up my own laser level and Gary started leveling. As he kept digging, I kept marking were the high point was and he would dig until it was below the laser beam. At the end, the ground was level to within an inch. All of the dirt removed was spread over the back yard and smoothed out. He was done at 4:00 PM about an hour less then expected. He would have done more but I ran out of item that I need complete.
