"We installed a deck roof which I explained in great detail that this was a roof first and a deck 2nd. They were not happy with some small wrinkles which I offered to cut the whole deck roof area out that had the winkle and redo at my expense, they did not like that option so I asked what would satisfy them, they said a discounted price of the project of $2,000.00, which was almost a 3rd of the job. After some thought I agreed to the discount and they still feel the need to give us an F. After the start of the project [Member name] the husband says to me "I have yet to find a contractor to work for me that I am satisfied with their work". After this experience I now have a new question to ask a potential client, "What other contractors in town have work for you that you have liked to work with?". That is one thing that has come out of this experience that I am thankful for. -Dan Elsom"

I had to have this work done on a rental property which is located 1000 miles from where I live. Clyde, with Elsom Roofing was a great help. He told me when he could do the work and did it on schedule. He did the work without me present and when I had a neighbor contractor inspect the installation it was all in order. Clyde kept in excellent communication throughout the process.

It was fast, professional, and economical. Every step of the process went as indicated but even more quickly than I had expected. Since the days were particularly rainy, this was a key factor that helped me to avoid damage to the ceiling and interior of my house. In addition to doing the work as required and promised, the work(s) who did the job also took down the tarp that I had tied down on my roof in the hope that I could hold off the rain while I waited for the repairs. They untied the tarp, folded it neatly, and set in a place where I would see it and know that that chore had already been done--so I didn't have to climb back onto the roof and remove it, etc.

Our house is very old and only after they got started tearing off the old shake shingles they discovered there were 2 more layers of old shingles underneath. The Elsom crew was there every day before I went to work and there every day when I got home, working hard to get all those shingles off in the hot summer sun. After the roof was done, they installed a new gutter system for the house. Due to the odd layout and angles of the house, there were some challenges on how to lay some of the downspouts, however they worked with us and came up with a good design that worked well for our home.

The roof over my mothers home connected to the detached garage roof over a breezeway. When it rained the rain poured into the breezeway through the roof. Epsom solved the problem that another local roofer said couldn't be fixed. After Epsoms repair was in place there were no more leaks, not even one drop of water leaked through. They were highly professional, speedy and cost effective. I would highly recommend them.

After a recent storm we discovered a leak in our roof. Elsom Roofing was recommended to us. I called in a panic as we were getting ready to leave on vacation in a couple of days. The receptionist was reassuring and had Scott return my phone call within an hour. Scott came out to our house (which is about 20 miles away) early afternoon and looked the roof over. He noted that we had some loose shingles and were missing 7. He said he had a crew in the area and would see if they could do the repair in the next day or so. He also gave me a rough quote of $150 to $200 for the repair. Imagine my surprise when Scott called about an hour later and told me that there would be a repair crew out by 3:00 pm. The crew arrived and had the repair finished in a half hour. They also explained why the shingles were pulling up and how to fix the problem ourselves before the roof became damaged again. To top it off, they would bill us by mail (received within the week) and we were given permission to pay after our vacation. When it comes time to redo our roof I will definitely be calling Elsom.
