I was very impressed with the knowledge and experience of the representative who met with us. I had obtained other estimates, but representatives of the other companies were overshadowed by the technical competence displayed by College Place Heating and Air. It was obvious that they wanted to install the best system that would meet the specific needs of our home and meet our budget. All work was done well and on time. We have been very pleased with the system they installed. I would highly recommend them.

I had these jokers install a top of the line gas fireplace into my home, no expense spared. They made sure to charge me premium, but now three years later I've never been able to enjoy an adequately functioning fireplace. We've tried about three dozen time to get them to fix it, and it's still not working reliably. I've left numerous messages for their owner and he won't return my calls. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all cost!

"This individual is obviously unhappy, and his description of service is greatly exaggerated. While his fireplace did have a damaged part from the factory and an installation issue, both of which were fixed at no charge to him over 5 visits to the home, each time it was working when we left. Determining the exact cause was further hampered by not being able to talk directly to him and get a clear description of the problem, but through a nanny. We left the fireplace working last time we were there. He then waited over a year to notify us that his fireplace was not working again, and said it wasn't working since the last visit and demanded that it be tore out and replaced, well after the warranty period had expired. With civil, prompt, and reasonable communication we are happy to resolves issues for our customers."

The removal and installation was done in approximately a week. It took a little longer than expected, but the work was quality and they left the area clean. They answered my many questions during the process.

It was 5:30pm on Tuesday, the temperature had reached 102 degrees that day, my mother who is 92 years old called to tell me her air conditioner had ceased working, the temp in her cement block house was climbing. I called College Place Heating and Air, they were closed but had a recorded message that gave an emergency phone number. I called the number, it was answered by Dennis, I told him the situation, he said either he or another repairman would be there in about an hour. Dennis arrived about an hour later, he quickly determined that a capacitor had given up, said he had one at the shop and would be back in 15 minutes. He came back with a new capacitor, installed it, the air conditioner started up blowing lovely cold air. Dennis said they would send a bill and off he went to see another broken down air conditioner in a town about 10 miles away. Kudos to Dennis and College Place Heating and air. My mother was able to stay in her own home that night.
