About us
Advanced Installation has been installing fireplaces & doing remodels in the greater Puget Sound region for 30 years. Whether you need a new fireplace installed or you're replacing an existing fireplace, whether it's remodeling your home or building an addition, running gas line for a new BBQ or building a new deck, you came to the right place! Advanced Installation specializes in custom home remodel and we work diligently to ensure all projects run smoothly & minimize disruption. Our goal is to not just meet your expectations, but to exceed your expectations. Our Office Staff have a combined experience in the industry of over 30 years. All of our installers have been factory trained on Travis Industries' fireplaces and our lead installers have a combined experience of over 50 years in the field.

I heard no further follow-up prior to the installation date, but that's fine. If I had a suggestion, it would be that they give a reminder phone call to ensure that the installation is still going to occur.
On the day of installation, my only complaint would be that Advanced Installations didn't arrive at 7:30am as promised, but instead a bit closer to 9am. I phoned their office in Lynnwood, which directed me to call their Marysville location. I left a message with the Marysville location, and they called back promptly to let me know that there would be a slight delay, since the electrician was double-booked. I got a call a few minutes later from the installer, telling me he was sorry that he was late (it was now 8:45am), but that he was on his way.
I shouldn't have to call to find out why a service provider is running late, but to Advanced Installation's credit, the installer called me at 8:45.
A little better communication with their customers is my only request. Perhaps a reminder/confirmation call the day before, and to let the customer know in a timely manner if the installer is running late.
Their installation cost was marginally more than the standard quote provided by Rich's (which was $475, and probably didn't include tax), but the difference is very minor and doesn't concern me, especially since the electrician was cheaper than quoted.
Except for those issues, the fireplace installation went very well, Advanced did everything they promised, and I would do business with them again.

Rich's Stove had no concept of how the billing worked for the installers. Rich's quoted $600 for about 4 hours of work which seemed reasonable.
The installer said, and quot;:We have to charge extra because additional fabrication was necessary and that process took a lot of timeand quot; however the job was completed in half the time that was estimated and the bill was for significantly more.

Either your job was done under a different name & address than what was listed, or our company may be getting confused with another company. Rich's for the Home has a "standard Installation" charge that they quote their customers, if the installers find on arrival that it's not a standard installation, they address it at that time. Every crew also works at a different pace, if the work was done in half the amount of time that was estimated by your salesperson, you must've had our must seasoned crew! I apologize for the experience you received, and can only hope you'll give us a 2nd chance. And to address these concerns as they come up. Sincerely, Advanced Installation"
