SLEEP 101

Brian sold us the bed and assembled it for us at our home. He was pleasant and helpful during the purchase and when he assembled it. However, when we put our queen size mattress and box springs on the bed, the frame of the bed was noticeably larger than the mattress/box springs. These means that there are 3 to 4 inch gaps between the mattress/box springs and the frame of the bed. This results in a number of problems: one, the gaps cause pillows to fall in between the headboard and the mattress/box springs; two, because the mattress/box springs are indented from the side boards, one often trips or slams their shins when getting in bed. We have had several friends and relatives test this out for us, and everyone agrees. I called Sleep 101 on the second day of ownership and asked to return/exchange the bed for a different one. They absolutely refused. I was stunned! This is a small, family-owned business and Brian was so helpful, that I would have never expected this attitude.
