I hired this contractor and subsequently fired him. He is not licensed to do electrical and I discovered that he did the electrical on this project which caused a fire hazard that had to be fixed by another company. Much of the other work had to be done due to shoddy workmanship and he can't keep a schedule which caused us to go over by 2 months and costing us in excess of $5000.00 on housing delays. He has a tendency to make decisions without contacting the owner and over riding decisions the home owner has made. I had to have him re do several things because he tried to change what was already on the approved plans. I suggest you do not hire this contractor. I am in the process of filing against his bond and have filed a complaint with our states authorities over this matter.

John was very nice, courteous and professional. He just wasnât as organized as we would have liked. Everything got done and looks good, but he was late to appointments and didnât have the tools needed and had to leave to get them on both days.

Let me preface this with the fact I told John on Sunday, the day he accepted the job, that "there is no rush." I would give John FIVE stars for service except the repairs he said would take a day or two took a week and during that time neither my neighbor nor I had a gate to secure our back yard. Not a big deal but if time is important to you get a firm commitment as to a completion date. Finally, John ran into minor problems which he resolved without added expense. As for value I think everyone EXCEPT ME is overpaid.
