The tree that Arborsmith worked on most recently lost over 30 feet of crown in a midnight crash.  The event left large limbs and boughs strewn about our front yard. There was no warning, no wind storm, no indication that the tree was stressed.  It simply let go and created a messy and unsafe situation.
Craig's tree care experts were on scene early the following morning.  They assessed the job and set to work in an efficient and safety-minded fashion. Within a few hours our tree and all the evidence of the big mess were gone.  
Arborsmith took traffic and sidewalk usage and all our precious flowering plants into consideration when they worked at our house.  With Craig's foresight we salvaged some small cherry trees that were crushed by the crown fall.  Those trees are thriving today thanks to his caring.
After we used a stump grinding service recommended by Arborsmith we started to get our front yard into shape.  We miss the tree but we are happy to have had arbor care from Arborsmith.
Even better - this year our county neighbors used Arborsmith at our recommendation. They said they were happy with the work he did on their *massive* trees and thy were even happy when it was time to write Craig a check.  Good value from Arborsmith.

It went good. They were very professional and efficient. It wasn't the easiest of jobs but the did good for me. The crew was quick and clean. They got the job done.

He came out and helped my husband save the tree and replant it. He also provided information on the rest of our trees. He gives presentations at our public library about how to care for trees. He teaches classes on the subject, which is were I found him.

Despite access problems at my small house on a narrow street, Craig and his crew managed to get their truck partway up the drive leaving the street passable. Per my requests, they left large wood in fireplace lengths, chipped and removed smaller branches and leaves. Left my yard swept and clean. The four large trees took most of the time and effort, resulting in the little stump being forgotten, but when I noticed it was still there they returned to remove it. That area, right at the front of the house, was left clean and level: people who didn't know before can't tell where the stump used to be.

Craig showed up promptly for the estimate and was very personable and professional. He's a true arborist. Spent a lot of time explaining what the tree needed. As I asked, he also went over my other trees offering advise and helpful suggestions. Showed up a bit late for the job as there was much emergency storm damage elsewhere in town. He and his crew trimmed the tree quickly and cleaned up. It looks good and I expect that it will do much better this spring. Expensive, but done right. Thanks, Craig!

Excellent! The quality of their work and the service was very high quality. It was priced right during a time when many companies were bidding overly high due to (I believe) the increased demand from the storm. This is a first rate company, all the way around. Good job!

The estimate was in the range we got from others but it was Craig's knowledge of trees and the time he took showing us all the problems we would have with the tree in the future if we only removed a part. They were on time, and it was like watching a master craftsman doing his thing. Watching him methodically take down this tree and his attention to not taking a chance on any damage to our property or his crew made this emotional experience, an enjoyable day.

Very knowledgeable foreman. Took 2 days, but the crew worked their butts off. It was quite a production on the removal, and they did an excellent job taking out the trees with little to no damage of surrounding trees and vegetation, including my vegetable garden. They even ground down stumps free of charge that I had taken down myself. The thinning of the remaining firs on the street was awesome. It was expensive, but in this case, worth getting the elm taken care of now, instead of losing the back of my house in a storm. There was a scheduling problem which lead to a week delay in getting the job done due to a broken truck, and then working my job around others scheduled after me, but now were in front of me, but when all was said and done, they gave a $50 discount because of the delay. Once the job was started though, they were on time both days, and worked all day with little to no breaks!
