Norsky Septic Pumping/Camano Island Gutter

I have been a homeowner for 40+ years. In that time I have had no small number of service men out to my houses to work. Also, in all that time I never felt the need to write an online review due to bad service. Rudy Gladso is perhaps the most unprofessional, irresponsible, and unreliable person that I have ever hired. His work is shoddy and the guy has absolutely no follow through. I strongly advise against hiring him. Okay here is the long story. Rudy was supposed to install a new septic pump for us. We paid him a down payment for his services and the new pump. The day he was supposed to install he told me that he did not have a pump. A month goes by and he said he has a pump but he is too busy to install it. In the meantime I am calling, texting, and emailing him to get some sort of commitment. Eventually he did commit to a date and came out (wonders never cease). He installed the pump but said he could not connect the electrical since he was not allowed to do it because he was not an electrician. He leaves me hanging. I finally found an electrician to do the work. He hooks up the new pump but there are wires that Rudy cut and left hanging. They are connected somewhere in the deep bowels of the septic pump. Additionally Rudy allegedly did a system inspection. It turns out that the timer was set on the pump to run EVERY THREE MINUTES. The electrician caught this and said he was not surprised the pump didn’t burn out. I called Rudy about this. He promises to come out. More phone calls, texts and emails I asked multiple times to provide me with the new pump’s warranty The invoice that he gave me had the wrong name and address on it. It took weeks before he sent me a corrected one. I needed it for reimbursement for my homeowners warranty. When I finally got it the address was correct but the name was still wrong. I foolishly paid this guy before the work was done to my satisfaction. I think in part this had something to do with my prior decades of experience working with service personnel that were professional and reliable. Please read some of the other reviews. This guy is unprofessional and unreliable. I read another review where someone stated that he installed an old septic pump. I am beginning to think that is why he has not provided me with any sort of warranty documentation. Avoid NORSKY for anything. Save yourself grief and a headache. The guy is a doofus.

Immediate attention to the work. System seems to be working just fine. Cost for pumping was nearly 25% higher than the estimate, despite having the as-built plan and then opening each of the three tanks in our septic system the day before pumping.

We knew it was near time to pump out our septic tank and were planning to do so in the spring. Then, this Saturday sewage poured out of two sinks in the house while we were running the shower and washer. Not knowing if it was a plumbing line blockage or a full septic tank, we called both Norsky Septic Service and a plumber. Rudy re-arranged his schedule to meet our emergency needs. He'd been recommended to us by a neighbor and had come out to our house 4 years prior to pump out, but told us we didn't need to do so yet. Honest guy. Turns out our issue was with a blocked plumbing line, but the tank was ready to pump, so Rudy went ahead and serviced it. He gave us some good pointers on maintaining our septic system and noticed a problem with the plumbing line coming into the septic tank where it appears that the line may not have been properly seated at an appropriate slope for drainage. We highly recommend Norsky Septic Service.
