UPDATE OF PREVIOUS REVIEW: We had a cracked drawer that still has not been replaced and we found a couple  of other things that needed to be fixed.  It was 6 months after the original work was completed that we asked for the new fixes. It took us several trips to Home Depot to get anyone to talk to us. Finally a representative came out and agreed that the items needed fixing and took all the information-promising to call us in a few days. 2 months later, we are still waiting to hear from anyone at Home Depot to move ahead on this problem. We also found out that we were charged for handles that should have been included in the price of the project. I love the look of our kitchen, but am VERY frustrated by how long it is taking to get things done. If it takes much longer, I can no longer recommend this provider. Lack of communication is a big problem.

Fixed a terribly botched job by a local contractor.
Home Depot's contractor Chris came in on a Monday-mid day and removed all the ruined doors, dust-sealed our kitchen and completely refaced our cabinets. He added all new doors and drawers with auto close hinges and slides. Also added were pullout shelves for more convenience  in lower cabinets. The work was completed in 3 days (the botched job took 7 months). He even relined the white interior of the cabinet that had been added so it matched our other cabinets because we had glass doors put on it. He did that as an add-on favor and stayed late to finish it. He added crown molding, lined the bottom of all cabinets so we could not see the ugly wood underneath. We now have a beautiful kitchen that is a real pleasure to work in
Only complaint is with the Home Depot cabinet company who did not stay in touch with us as we waited over nine weeks for our install. We knew it would be that long, but there were no updates so we were nervous. I had to call them. We are dealing with that same lack of communication again as they promised to replace a cracked drawer in two weeks and it has been nearly two months. Hopefully that will be resolved soon.
Had to call Home Depot again and remind them that we have a cracked cabinet but will be away for while so will update when we get the problem solved.
