The price varies for the amount you get and the time of year. We have been using them for 2 years now.

Ferrellgas installed our propane tank last summer and things went fine. No complaints no kudos. The gas piping was performed by another company who recommended Ferrellgas.
We ordered propane in early december and they did not fill our tank as requested, but only brought it up to about 65% full.
Today I called to have my propane tank filled , I was quoted a price of $5.60 per gallon to fill my tank which would be delivered in one week. If I wanted delivery sooner, I could pay $200 for same day emergency delivery.
I asked why it was so much more than in December. I was told that since the December delivery was my first fill, I received a promotional discounted rate of approx 3.50 a gallon.
in my opinion that explains the failure to fill the tank as requested.
I asked why propane seemed so expensive and was told that weather events in the midwest are driving up costs. I told them I suspected it had more to do with the fact that itis February and we are expecting temperatures in the teens this week. Unusually cold for us.
I cancelled my order and called a local company. Their propane is $3.17 per gallon and it will be delivered tomorrow.
It pays to shop around.

Disappointed in the price increase on the propane. Was about $1.78 a gallon now at $2.85 per gallon. The sales rep said they average about $2.35 per gallon.

They have been great. We switched from another company and their customer service and prices are fair. We have no complaints about them. They are on auto sell.

When I first started using them, I had done a comparison, and they are the lowest in the area. Their rate is still pretty good. They are fine. They have been great to work with and have good communication. They are very flexible on how they bill and/or in how much you get so that you do not have to sell your whole tank if you cannot afford it. They were very good to respond.

My husband checked on them if they are reasonable and competitive. They came on the day, the service men were serious, efficient, and everything were fine,
