I have always thought the world of this clinic. The doctors and vet techs took care of my two dogs through serious illnesses and helped me through their crossing over. But as the clinic was sold to an out-of-state corporation, it is not the same quality of service as before. I talked to the senior partner months ago that if the front desk people are disorganized and not customer service mindful, it does not matter how great the professional staff is...if the experience starts as a big negative! I have paid THOUSANDS IN medical fees over 6 years, but I will not recommend CVVC to anyone. Most of the vets and the vet techs that I knew have left the practice. When my dogs were going through each's crisis, the professional staff was wonderful but the practice is not the same now. I am done!!!

It went badly.  My dog was seen by 3 different veterinarians.  The first mis diagnosed her, the 2nd correctly diagnosed her and noted specific treatment instructions. When she went back a 3rd time due to pain, a 3rd veterinarian saw her.  It was suggested she be kept overnight. She was handed over to a non veterinarian staff member.  I received a call notifying me th next day that she had had a set back.  When I went to check on her, she was brought out  on a lead by clinic staff to the reception area crying in pain. Her side fur had been shaved off, she had pain patches on and I was told to take her for a walk, even though veterinarian treatment instructions specified extreme restriction to any physical activity.  I wouldn't  so she was then taken to an exam room where, after seeing the extreme pain she was in I was forced to make the decision to have her put to sleep.  The clinic staff did not follow the one veterinarians correct diagnosis treatment instructions for her condition.  The mismanagement of her condition made it much worse and her suffering was intolerable. I can only guess how a clinic could so horribly mismanage the care of a pet entrusted to them.  I don't believe her paperwork was ever updated to show the correct diagnosis and treatment.. I don't believe communication between the 3 veterinarians and staff was handled well.  The clinic staff is young, friendly and enthusiastic - but not necessarily experienced or competent.  And could not have been supervised well. The staff were unable to even see the extreme pain my dog was in.  I had gone to this clinic due to an emergency situation.  I will never go back.

They have digital x-rays, ultrasound, and some of the best equipment available at small town prices.

Visit was fine. Vets and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, informative and very helpful. This is veterinarian hospital, as good or better than any veterinarian I have ever seen in the last twenty years, and it is rather surprising to find such a good vet in such a small town. We traveled 20 miles to see this vet, and frankly, I would travel 50 miles or more to visit them. That is how much we trust them. They are not the cheapest vet around, though I believe their rates are very reasonable for what you get. We went through a very difficult time earlier with a beloved Brittany Spaniel, and they were incredibly helpful in letting us know what was possible, what was likely, what we would have to spend to get a needed surgery, and how likely it would be that our dog would live for a reasonable amount of time after the surgery. In the end, he deteriorated too quickly for us to take any positive action, and even with that really sad ending, the vets were compassionate and very understanding and respectful of our mental duress at that time.
The best vets I have ever been to, without any reservation on that point.

My pet died in September but they took good care of her before she died. I spent quite a bit in the time leading up to her death. She had chronic problems and it was quite expensive. They are very professional and they cover the whole spectrum of care. They are real high-class. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They do a good job and are friendly as well. There are no problems. I would very much recommend them to other people. They are outstanding in everything that they do. They are professional and answer all of our questions. They are a great company to work with.
