If I could give this company a negative star rating, I would. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, of any type, in my entire life. I had a settling garage and in November 2019 I contacted Robbins to see if they could fix it . After looking at the project, they told me that they could not consider proceeding or giving me an estimate without my obtaining an engineers report. They referred me to an engineer who prepared a report (for $4000) and then provided a copy to me and to Robbins. In January 2020, I contacted Robbins to see if they could give me an estimate based on the report. They said they would get back to me. At minimum, over the next six months, I had at least 10 communications with Robbins (not an exaggeration), either over the telephone or in writing trying to determine the status of my project. During that time, when I contacted them, they either didn’t respond to my communication or told me that they were still “working on it.“ Finally, frustrated after six months, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I explained the situation, he apologized profusely, and told me that he would look into the situation, and get back to me the next day. A week went by and I heard nothing back from the supervisor, as promised. So, I ended up calling the supervisor and asked him what he found out. He told me that based upon the engineering proposal, “this was not a project that they would do.“ I asked him why, if he had the engineering plans for six months, I wasn’t advised sooner that they weren’t going to proceed on the project. He simply said that he thought it had been communicated to me. So, eight months after contacting this company, I have incurred over $4000 in engineering fees and have to start searching for a foundation repair company all over, after wasting my time with Robbins. Obviously, from other reviews, other people have had different experiences with this company. For me personally, I have never been treated so poorly with customer service or had such a horrible experience.

Robbins was absolutely amazing. I would definitely go with this company again, They came out and gave me an honest estimate and didn't try to upset me with expensive foundation repair. The crew they sent out was very professional, hardworking and meticulous. This company is absolutely top shelf!

They took time to educate me right from the start, without “sell”. In fact, they then came and made a steong recommendation at a much more reasonable price than previously quoted. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish it was fast, professional, friendly and reasonable. They were able to provide the estimate within days of initial contact. The work was scheduled for a couple weeks later. They showed up when they said they would, sent reminders, finished the work within a few hours and thoroughly cleaned up after the work. Highly recommend Robbins & Co

The Robbins and Co. team just finished correcting and stabilizing our foundation. They installed four Foundation Push Piers. We could not be happier. The entire team were knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. That included the office staff, especially Charlene, Lee who created the proposal and clearly communicated expectations, and of course Miguel and Sergio who installed the system and shared their knowledge. Afterwards they cleaned up everything and replanted the plants that had been removed. I could tell why Robbins and Co. have been in business for so long. They have staff with quality characteristic who know what they are doing and do it right. We feel very confident in recommending them.

I contacted several foundation companies, but Robbins and Co was the only one who not only knew what they were talking about, they cared about me. (Their pricing was about the same as the others, too.) Doug was my foundation consultant and after the initial review, I was worried I had missed something and he offered to check it out on his day off. He spent an hour going through the whole house and easing my fears. (This is my first home.) Doug came back a third time a month later, when some new hairline cracks appeared on the foundation while I was waiting for permits and engineering. Overall, I would've been a lot more stressed than I was if not for Doug's dedication and patience. He really made a difference. The office staff took care of the permits and engineering. As for the two days doing the actual work, they worked hard, cleaned up, and got the corner of my house level again! They also slabjacked one half of the garage (for the corner that had been raised). All in all I was very pleased with Robbins and Co. While I hope I never have to use them again (their work comes with a lifetime warranty), if you need foundation work, I highly recommend them.

We have a large Dutch Colonial in North Tacoma that looks like a barn and is over 100 years old. The porch was enclosed in the 1930's to enlarge the living room. The old brick foundation in the front had slowly settled over time resulting in sloped floors, not the safest foundation in the event of an earthquake. Lee Mattingly from Robbins came to our house and got into our crawl space. Lee was very thorough inspecting the space inside and out. Because our situation was somewhat unusual, Lee encouraged us to get a 3rd party engineering report. We opted to stay with the engineers at Robbins. Lee came back to us with 3 options in different price ranges from $9000 for beams to $100K for a new foundation that would have added square footage to our basement. He explained every option thoroughly. We opted for helical piers because of their added safety in the event of an earthquake. Jorge and his team showed up on time the scheduled day to work. They were super professional and very kind. They were also incredibly neat. The work was done in a week, then the concrete cured and they came out 1 more day to finish installing the piers. The space was left cleaner than how they found it! (seriously - the swept up in the basement and the crawl space looked much cleaner) NOTE: I thought we'd have to move things out of our living room while they did the foundation. But...no, you don't have to move anything when they do this kind of work. Now we have a much safer home and the floors, while not perfectly even, are much better! We had an excellent experience. I recommend Robbins highly and Lee Mattingly especially. He is good at explaining things, patient with questions and answered my calls & messages very quickly.

The contract nicely itemized the various repair steps something you don't always see in contractor bids. Plus Lee was great about clarifying other details not specifically called out in the repair steps. Andy and Josh were cheerful thorough out, and happy to confirm and explain any questions I had during the job. The job was professionally done along with cleanup.

Lee showed up to provide an estimate right on time. He let us follow him around while he explained the measurements he was taking. We had 2 other contractors provide estimates with some very different opinions on what the issue was so we really wanted to make sure we understood what was going on. Lee was fabulous, he explained everything, was very thorough and professional and most importantly the explanation of what was wrong and what needed to be done made sense based on the measurements and what we knew about the issues we were seeing in the house. He didn't try and sell us more work than we needed and he really listened to all of our concerns. Lee even made a follow up call a couple of days later to answer any additional questions we had.
Once we made our decision they were able to schedule a crew as early as the next day. The crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves and got strait to work. Again they were courteous, thorough and professional. They explained everything and took about a million measurement with their level to make sure everything was just right. I would highly recommend Robbins & Co.

They did a fantastic job. WOW.
My house was built in 1980 and has a concrete slab for the first floor rather then wood construction.  The slab itself has slowly been sinking to varying degrees since it was built in 1980, the foundation is not the problem and has remained in its original position.  The problem I believe is that the builder did not compact the soil inside of the foundation adequately prior to pouring the slab.  About 3/4 of the slab on the 1st floor had sunk, creating a slope anywhere from 4-8 inches depending on the room of the house.  Robbins was able to raise the slab back to its original height.  The floors are level for the first time since I bought it in 1985.  They did a series of drillings in the living room, kitchen, bath, laundry and garage.  All of these rooms had noticeable sinking.  Robbins was able to fill the voids under the concrete and literally lift the floor back to its original height.  Watching the process was amazing.  Robbins team worked fast and efficiently through the process.
Additionally, there was a slab that had cracked and broke into 3 pieces on the porch and walkway attached to the front of the house.  The porch/walkway had been done on one concrete pour originally.  At the corner of the porch is where the breaks were.  Robbins installed 2 pins to raise the corner up about 8 inches.  This had to be done because the slab on that part of the porch was above the grade of the soil, so there hadn't been adequate support there from original construction.  The remainder of the porch had sunk similar like the inside of the home and was able to be slabjacked.  The porch now is level.   Doing this has also corrected the roofline of the porch itself and has increased the street appeal. Now when looking at the home you don't see broken down old home with a broken porch, you actually notice the house.
Robbins and Co., along with their team of workers did a fantastic job.

Lee came out and gave an estimate in order to do the required work.  I received bids from RamJack NW and Matvey Construction, as well.  While the competition's prices were slightly cheaper, Robbins and Co came down in price in order to become competitive; however, the main deciding factor were the great reviews they had from both Angie's List and I spoke with several geotechnical engineers.  One of the two competitors uses in house engineering, which I would highly advise against, and the other seemingly had a comparable product and prices, but then it came down to the reviews and recommendations I received.
Robbins and Co came out and did the work as planned, on time, exactly at their bid, and all of the expectations that they communicated throughout the process were accurate.  I am always a little concerned about using contractors, but these guys acted professionally throughout and at no time did they say anything that was inaccurate.  The end result was better than I expected and I would absolutely recommend Robbins and Co.

Overall great experience.
Started off with an estimate that was open and transparent.
They took care of submitting the paper work and engineering with the city.
At the installation they took great care to make sure that there was no internal damage to the house as they installed the piers.  Very fast, they were able to get 7 piers installed in a day and a half.  Everything was done as described in the prelim work.
Highly recommended.

They came out on Friday morning and got started.  My husband was home and was very impressed with their work.  It turned out to be a bit more than they had anticipated (the patio ended up being thick) and they had to come back on Tuesday morning to finish putting the brackets on and raise the patio back up to it's original height.  They left caution tape around the holes to make sure no one would fall or get hurt until they could return.

After lifting the patio, they caulked the crack that had fallen.  Many of the smaller cracks got pushed tightly together when the patio was raised back to it's original position. They cleaned everything up after they finished and swept off the patio for us.

It looks great and we feel relieved to know that it's stable and we don't have to worry about the roof sagging and pulling apart, the patio cracking further, or the water in the gutters running the wrong way.

We are very happy with the results, the work crew, the estimator, the office staff etc.  Everyone was very professional. The bill was exactly what the original estimate quoted.

When the rep from Robbins came the first time, he gave some suggestions for trenching that he hoped would help us avoid the need for additional work. Unfortunately, the trenches did not entirely eliminate the leaking. Robbins crew came right away- they removed cement around the inside perimeter of the basement floor. They then placed a drainage system that was trenched to the outside. I have watched the floor for a couple of weeks to make sure that it does not leak again. It has stayed perfectly dry, so I will now be able to put the flooring in place.
The people from Robbins were extremely helpful, professional and timely. I would use them again!
