He worked for 3 hours and the patch work looks better and is much smoother than what was there before. He explained that he couldn't make it look like there was no damage to the wall so I didn't expect perfection but it does look better than it did (it previously had a shed in front of it so you couldn't see that part of the wall). I felt he did a good job with what he had to work with.

Bob's work was excellent. I had to wait for the work to begin because he was booked solidly (obviously a good sign), but once he was available he did a great job expeditiously. I could not be more satisfied.

This was the 3rd contractor I had contacted about doing this small repair (others off Angie's list as well). The other 2 declined the work after wasting my time looking at it (too busy, too small a job...). With Bob, it was done in a timely fashion, as scheduled. Responsive to scheduling needs of client. Quality work and good communication about what to be done. And he asked me if I had other small things needing fixing while he was here, so he fixed the doors I had lived with broken for years! I was happy with his work, so I am now working with him on a bigger project replacing carpet and linoleum with laminate wood flooring throughout the house.

I called Bob and he immediately put me to the front of the line. He arrived on time and immediately spotted the cause of the damage to my wall (leak from the roof). He provided an estimate and said he could come back in 2 days to fix it. He arrived on time and immediately went to work fixing the leak. He finished that repair and then he took a look around and saw some other issues that needed to be addressed immediately. There were some roofing tiles missing and had exposed wood; he fixed those and then cut some branches off a tree that was overhanging the roof and still came in under his estimate.
I am very pleased with Bob and his work. He will be returning to fix the damage to the wall as soon as his schedule clears. I find him to be very professional, personable, and ethical. I would recommend him to anyone.

I love my new kitchen!  It came out just as I'd
hoped.  I had contacted other kitchen counter contractors initially, and
the prices they quoted were high.  Bob's prices are very reasonable.
He is a pro at cutting and installing Formica, and the finished counters look
great.  He did the plumbing work himself, as well as the carpentry.
The whole project, including tearing off the old counters, was completed in
less than 2 weeks.

Bob is reliable, friendly, and talented. He has sometimes had to reschedule an appointment, but he always contacts me ahead of time. His hourly rate is very reasonable, and he gets a lot done in a few hours.

Bob was on time, worked without supervision, was totally competent, and was pleasant without being interruptive. He has a truck stocked with tools and supplies, minimizing hardware store runs.

Bob did a great job. The salvaged door he found was quite inexpensive. He spent several hours cutting it down to the correct size, getting the old hinges placed correctly on it, and installing a new handle and dead bolt. The inside of the door had been scratched up by a dog in its prior life, but I have now sanded and touched up the scratches. Since it was to be a basement door, I didn't mind the scratches, and the price was lower. The door seems very sturdy and opens easily and closes securely. He also did a nice job of adjusting two gates, one wooden and one chain-link, so that they would swing freely. Bob's rates are very reasonable. I will definitely use him again.

We bought our house in 2000 here in West Seattle. At one point we were ready to do some upgrades to our home and started looking for a contractor. My wife works with Bob's sister-in-law and we got in touch with him shortly after that. What a find! Bob, is a seasoned and talented contractor both for indoor and outdoor projects. His first project at our house was the front yard fence. Anyone in our neighborhood can tell you it's a great fence - we have people stop all the time and ask about it (or just say and quot;I love your fence!and quot;). Although my wife and I and quot;designedand quot; it Bob executed our ideas to the and quot;nthand quot; degree. Next came a big project of extending our front porch to a side deck and cover...Bob builds everything with meticulous care - and to last longer than we'll be alive! Once again he executed our plans exactly as we requested. The there are numerous indoor projects....kitchen floor (laminate), kitchen backsplash, bedroom floors (hardwood laminate), doors, window installment, roof repair and even our hot tub installment. There's not much we've thrown at him that he can't do...he will be honest with you if he doesn't specialize in something and think he shouldn't do it. Bob guarantees all his work. Beside all of this he's a tremendously nice guy!
The only problem I have in writing this review is that I don't want him to get so busy that I'll never be able to book him again :). Do yourself a favor and use him on your next project...he's great!
