Were to begin. He did give me a free estimate that started at over $1000 but as I questioned his length of time needed for the job he dropped it to $400. All the home needed was a few studs replaced in the wall and also the floorboard under them and the flooring adjacent to it. Like an idiot I left him alone to fix my mobile home because I needed to take my father to the va hospital. When I returned about 3 hours later he had completed the job and was gone. He had stapled up the paneling I had bought over the hole in the wall and used some cheap molding around it. I put my hand under the paneling and felt around underneath it and discovered he had left the old rotted wood up and just put the panel in front of it so I wouldn't know. I tore out the panel and found he hadn't done any repair work except for nailing in two pieces of crappy plywood for the floor which now has big gaps in it. Well I called him up right away and asked him to return and do the repair work correctly. Well he came back and told me that the wood that had a big hole in it and that I could peel away with my fingernails was not rotted. I kept after him until he fixed it correctly. As he left I noticed that he had cut the wood to fix the wall on my front porch and it was not covered in sawdust. I had to vacuum and sweep it several times to get it clean. Never will hire this man again.
