A couple of days ago, TW called me and said no water pressure from faucets etc. Called Hall and Son later in the night, left message. Followed up again in the morning with another phone call, got an appointment for noon. Got a call from Dan shortly after, saying he will be there earlier. Upon arrival he did his thing, found electrical panel for well pump at fault. He had a replacement part, and it fixed it. Our house was built in 1995, and I have been here for over 13 years. So I suspected it would be the well pump. Good news to hear that it only costed me a visit fee of $85 and $85 for the part. Dan not only put me as a high priority cause we had no running water, he saved me what could of been a several thousand dollar unnecessary repair. Forgot to mention, not only were on Angie's list, they also had one of their company placards on my well pump tank, and they were ones that actually installed this well system over 20 years ago. All the parts that made up our well system is of high quality, and so was the replacement part they just installed. Hall and Son will be the first number to call if and when the need arises

Both services went extremely well. Cost for 1) $80, for 2) $1541. Response to my call was immediate. They understand the urgency when you do not have water.

I came uponj my driveway as a tons of water came flowing down toward the road.  I was not aware that anyone was there.  I just happened upon a man who was by the pipe as several hundred gallons of water flowed down the drive.  I knew someone was going to check the water flow for the prospective buyer, and as I came upon him I question why didn't he put the water on my brown lawn this hot summer day.  I can't remember his response...but it wasn't planned or something.
So all there was was a meter hooked to the valve in the pumphouse, some pvc pipe and that was about it, and tons of water down the drain.
There was also a bill of $506.19.    $36.19 of that was  for "Unincorporated"  Whatever that is.
I must admit I dragged my feet in paying because I thought it was outrageous....but I did finally pay the the bill.

While working in our garage, my husband noticed that the pump on our well was turning off and on very frequently and very little water was being drawn into the holding tank. Since the business office was just five miles away, my husband went there and talked to one of the service people. He listened very patiently and then described what the problem was. He was at our house within an hour and very quickly fixed the problem. He explained what he was doing to my husband every step of the way, which he appreciated. Our pump has been working perfectly ever since the service call.

They charged $82 per visit, which was very reasonable.  We needed to prime the pump once the plumbing was fixed and they sent someone right away that day to prime the pump so that I would have water and it was really nice of them.  They helped me out immediately.  They were fast and provided friendly service.  They were very efficient and courteous.  They are hard to get a hold of, but once you do, they are very quick.

I did a water test on the well and it came back positive with coliform bacteria. I tried killing it myself. Once with a gallon of bleach and 2 more times with way more more bleach... The well is over 250 feet deep. I got to thinking that the only way to kill this is fill the well up with bleach. Wow, do the math that's alot of bleach and water. Called Hall and Son and they gave me a couple of options. What I love about this place, they will teach you what you need to do or if you are not a hands on person they will do it all for you.
They are very relaxed group of folks and this at some points does not come across very well. Thus you might be asking yourself .. do they know what they are talking about?? The answer is oh h*** yes they do.. They are SO NOT an auto repair guy that will want to replace everything to fix one issue but they will fix what needs fixing.
