We needed a fence and gate installed within a couple of days and he was able to make arrangements to help us in the short time frame. Dewey was extremely thorough in his assessment & estimate as well as receptive to my questions & changes. The installation team was respectful of my personal property and communicated with me during the project to ensure my expectations were met. While we ran into an unexpected hiccup with a tree, Dewey and the team met with me so we could discuss options enabling me to make an educated decision. The end result? A beautiful fence and exactly what I wanted! I work with contractors on a regular basis as part of my job and API Construction is among the best in quality workmanship for a reasonable price & I would recommending them without hesitation. Iâ ll have more fence work in the future and I will definitely be calling them!

Dewey was great to work with

I contracted to have 88 feet of 30 year old wood property fence replaced, and a gate installed on one side of the house. The fence was done to my complete satisfaction. When I saw the finished gate, I realized I had specified for it to be too high. I requested that the excess height be cut off; the correction was done in minutes (and at no additional charge). I cannot thank them enough. API met or exceeded my expectations for every aspect of the project, and I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I hired them to replace one section of fence in the back that already had galvanized steel poles and only required new supporting 2x4's and the cedar fence boards. They came out to do the job and finished it basically in a half day. At the time from what I saw it looked good but as I was awaiting knee surgery I really didn't get up close and look at every board - I wish now that I had, because it looked good from far, but it was far from good. About 6 weeks later after my knee surgery, I began to seal the new fence and discovered that almost a 1/3 of the boards they used were either termite eaten or cracked, especially in the back. I immediately called the owner, Mr. FaiFai, and he asked me to take pictures and send them to him. I did and waited for a return call. He did not call me, so I called him again. I don't remember the exact conversation because I basically couldn't believe what I was hearing from him. He told me that the termite damage must have happened after they installed the wood - which is not true termites burrow between wood, and that wood "wears over time" and that he's not responsible for that. This was not a long time since the job was completed. It's obvious he used old boards that had been sitting around for who knows how long, which is ironic because when I was considering hiring his company, he stressed that they use better quality wood than other companies. He also said that I signed the contract upon final payment and that it indicated that I was satisfied with the job. I asked him to come out and look for himself, because pictures don't show all the details accurately. He never showed. I really thought he was a better businessman than that, that's why I waited a couple of weeks before I wrote this review, in case I was wrong. I do not recommend hiring Mr. Faifai and his company, API Construction LLC.

From the first initial phone call I knew I could trust Dewey and his crew. Dewey was very responsive and very easy to communicate with our concerns or questions we had about the process anytime. Along the way we hit a speed bump from the original deal but he handled it very professionally. During the install whenever I ask questions about xyz Dewey and his crew had very professional and knowledgeable responses which made the whole experiences that much easier. They were also very fast and the fence looks great! Whenever I talked any of them it felt more like talking to a friend rather then just someone who wants our money. Highly recommend API Construction to anyone with any fence needs!!

The fencing replacement and new fence with gate addition that API construction installed were well done. The crew was receptive to all of my concerns and requirements, and made sure I was completely happy with the final product before thoroughly cleaning up and calling the job complete. API gets my recommendation for fencing needs.

API is amazing. I got the call right away after requesting a quote for a new fence online even though it was a Sunday (and Father's Day) They came out the very next day to give us an estimate. The owner came himself and was professional and friendly! He gave us an honest fair price that was way more affordable than the competition. The work was started within two weeks. The guys came early and were respectful to our neighbors. They got the job done quickly and precisely. They hauled away the old fence and cleaned up everything as they worked. I expected a mess for a few days but that didn't happen. We are extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship. Our new fence looks amazing.
