James is as good as you can find anywhere and I highly recommend him. My garage door needed repair and I found James on Yelp. After calling him and describing my problem, he provided a quote, which sounded reasonable to me, and said he'd come by the next day. The morning of the next day, he called me and gave me an estimate of the time he'd arrive and he was actually slightly early. After looking at my garage door, he reduced his quote and said it would take about an hour to repair. He was very thorough and showed me the problems and discussed the root causes. He totally repaired the door, fixed a few other minor problems, and performed some other fine tuning. My door works better now that it ever has. He also brought his new puppy which added an element of entertainment. All-in-all, not only was my door repaired but it was a fun experience. I called other larger repair companies and they wanted $100 just as a service fee - above and beyond the basic repair fee. Thanks to James, the repair was done at a more-than reasonable cost. Amazing. James is professional, friendly, and is a wizard with garage doors. His tune up made an old door sound, and operate like a new door. I would reccomend James without a doubt.

This is a one-man show and he's a real pro.  Educated me about the workings of the door.  Could have attempted to sell me a new door, but didn't, saying that while old, our door would be superior to any replacement other than a super-expensive unit, and that maintenance and eventual hardware replacement would be the best aesthetic and most cost-effective choice.  I highly recommend him.
