BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This company had to install my tile shower floor 3 times because it was not sloped properly to drain!! When I pointed out this was a problem I was laughed at. Also, the heated tile floor was installed incorrectly so that there were electrical shorts in the wiring! A factory rep from Schluter had to come out and point out their errors!! BUYER BEWARE!!

Michelle and her team, to include Brittan and Hailey of the front office and the installers, Brian and Jonas, were absolutely fantastic. Michelle coordinated and communicated clearly and effectively. The installers did a beautiful job with the tile on my shower and floor install. They made sure things were installed properly from another contractor, and made sure it wasn't something I had to confront as a customer, the team liaised. And the office attendants were helpful and friendly!

Stone Slab Countertops - Install (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)
I had quartz countertops done in my bathrooms along with new tile around the tub in the Master Bathroom. (The tile work was also sourced out by HP Tile and the group who did it did a good job.) They had a sample (which was large) to bring home and check if it would go with my cabinets. I liked it. I had ordered the Quartz to be put in both the guest bathroom upstairs and the Master Bathroom ( both had double sinks). The Quartz in the Guest Bathroom is beautiful, but the Quartz in the Master is not of the same quality. They do not match. The one in the Master Bathroom is darker in color and has these large brown circle splashes throughout. You did not see this on the sample in the store and they are not like that in the Guest Bathroom. HP Tiles had sourced this work out to Western Artrisan, so they did the countertops. The installers did a good job it was not their fault, but I blame HP Tiles and Western Artisan. When I questioned the HP Tile representative they said well the company probably did not think it was a big deal since these are in two different spaces and not right next to each other. I said it did not match the sample either. They said it is not unusual to have some color difference...well this is not some, it looks like I got second-hand Quartz...a piece they had left over. I think the HP Tile representative should have gone there to make sure the countertops looked good before they had cut the sinkholes offsite (meaning not at our house). Nothing I could really do about it, they had installed it before we saw the spots, but when they asked us to take a look at both bathrooms when they were finished, we were like, the Guest Bathroom was beautiful, then we saw the Master Bathroom, my hand went directly to the brown spots because I thought someone spilled coffee, but then I noticed it throughout that countertop. In addition, I pointed out a flaw near one of the sinks that looks like scratches or like a smear of toothpaste that was not completely wiped off. The flaw was below the surface. They did not do anything about that. Told us to buy some products and try them...it did not work. Then they offered to have the company come out and work on it, but it was below the surface, we were afraid anything they did would make it even worse. Also, I had a tile picked to put around the tub, and when I went to order the tile they could not find the sample. So, I ended up picking tile and buying it at Lowes for them to install. It was not my first choice but what could I do, they could not find the sample and the representative did not write it down. I would not recommend them for counters at all. Also, the representative came to pick up the final check and said she made a mistake and I owed an additional $47. I said can not you just forget it considering the issues on the Master Bathroom Quartz, the answer was.

Regarding the countertops, variances in color, pattern and veining can happen as slabs can be made at different times resulting in some variances. Also, when material is installed in two separate areas, surroundings such as lighting, paint and material colors in the location can reflect on the surface of the quartz, effecting the way it looks. HP Tiles does not take responsibility to hand pick slabs on a stock item like quartz. Furthermore, sink holes for countertops are never cut on-site due to the amount of dust that is created. When HP Tiles received your email regarding your concerns on 6/14/2023, we immediately reached out to Western Artisan to discuss what could be done. A cleaning product and instructions on what to do was recommended to you to try. It was offered that if that did not remedy the concern, a technician with Western Artisan could be scheduled to come out and address the issue and how to rectify the situation. As you mentioned above, you did not want this. HP Tiles has offered everything possible to fix the issue. If you have changed your mind, we are more than happy to send a technician out to address your concerns and see how this can be fixed to your satisfaction as customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we want you to love your space.
