DISH NETWORK

My receiver went out and they did a good job in putting a new DVR's.  They did a good job in installing new equipment.  The service is good but the position had dropped ---they had a conflict with Fox News and they've dropped them off the air couple of weeks ago.  It is still off because of some contract dispute.  I called them and they were sorry for that but they're in contract negotiation and they will give me $5 off a month for the next three months as long as they are still in contract negotiation.  I'm not too happy about it.

We are very satisfied with them. We've been in Washington for ten years and we've been with them since we came here. We also had an account in Idaho where we moved from a lifetime before. We've been with them almost since the beginning. Their price and quality I think is competitive or better than some of the others. We have shopped the price and they're right with the market. They don't have local service, so if we had a piece of equipment fail we have to wait for them to ship one out. We would then turnaround and take the damaged or broken piece and ship it back to them, so that is about as convenient as having somebody come out and set it up for you.

We have been with them for a long time, we call them once in a while but we are still satisfied with their service because they always accommodate us when we have complains.

I called up for a promotional package where you get free HD for life and found out that what you need to do to get free HD for life is you have to give them your credit/debit card and go through paper-less billing. My bill is supposed to be 54$ for 250 channels and I'm getting billed 150$ every month now. When they bring you the unit they will ask you if you want DVR and of course I got one because everybody wants DVR. So they give me a DVR unit for free but the rest I have to pay for. I have 4 TV's so that is 3 additional charges per month for rental unit. If you wish to use the DVR capability then you must purchase the DVR package. Beware when speaking to Dish Network and make them explain to you all the fine print before you sign up because their promise of 54.95 and free HD for life does have its limitation that they do not tell you unless you specifically ask. They charge for each receiver and if you do not give your credit/debit card you will not get the free HD for life.

They were great a lot better than direct television.

They came the next day and on the specified time. They cleaned the area and made the cables more manageable. They were responsive.

WE NOW HAVE THE DISH NETWORK IN TWO ROOMS AND THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE FROM SIGNUP THRU INSTALLATION WAS EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT AND DID THE JOB EFFICIENTLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK AND WAS CONSCIENCE AND POLITE WHILE IN OUR HOME.
