This is my second summer in the new house and I'd never had to hire someone in my previous house, because the water company automatically sent an employee out once a year and then added a charge to the water bill. In the new jurisdiction, each homeowner has to arrange for the inspection individually. Last year, I hired an approved plumbing company off the list. Their charge, for about 10 minutes of inspection and paperwork, was $150 and I had to mail in the paperwork. Jeff worked me in on the day I called, was here when he said he'd be, reported orally on the pressure readings (both excellent), then emailed the report to the city and to me. His charge? $37.50. . . . and he's going to automatically schedule a recheck the last week of July every year hereafter. Jeff made things so easy!
