Great! He checks the traps regularly, and leaves them until the mole(s) are caught or he's confident they've left the area. Shane is a nice guy and very professional. Charges per mole, not per visit.

Shane showed up the first time and set quite a few traps. He returned a couple weeks later and caught four moles. I was happy with the progress. He reset the traps and said he be back in ten days to check them - also asked me if I started to see new mole activity to let him know. The moles were still there and I told Shane repeatedly - he went dark on me. Never returned and gave excuses to why he hadn't made it back to the house. By that time the yards were a mess with moles and it looked like nothing was done to curb the damage. I finally asked Shane to just remove the traps after he never returned after a month. Awful experience - I get the impression this is a side business for Shane and you are at best getting marginal attention. If you have a modest mole problem - he might be a good call - but if he's need to be more diligent then you'd be better off finding someone else.

He is due to come out any day now, actually. He charges per mole. He is not done so I have not been charged. He is excellent and does not charge until he catches moles and he will keep coming until the moles are gone. So far, so good. He will be coming here for a while. The pricing is fair.

This is the second season we've called on Shane to control our mole problem--very pleased with the results! It's a perpetual problem, but he is able to get it under control so we can enjoy the view without the mole mounds as a distraction.

Looked like additional moles were present so reset traps and to return later to check. Once no mole activity is noted for a period of time, I will be sent a first/final invoice contingent on the number of moles caught as originally discussed. Sean is very professional and takes time to ensure the customer understands the process. Would definitely recommend this service to others with mole problems.

Initially I had a difficult time contacting Shane. But, he explained he had been having difficulty with his phone service and came out the day after we spoke and set traps. He did an excellent job explaining his process, listened to my concerns about my dogs not getting into the traps, and set several traps. He did a terrific job of not setting the traps in the lawn area which would have caused problems with my lawn mowing service. All traps were set inconspicuously in the garden areas most affected by the mole population. Success the very first night. Since the traps were set I have seen zero activity in the yard. I believe if not all are exterminated, they have left for friendlier yard areas. I am very pleased with the program so far and highly recommend this company.
Haven't seen a bill yet which will be based on the number of moles caught. I expect it to be high because of the amount of damage caused in my yard (Many Moles!), but it will be worth it. My cost of service indicated is an estimate.

They're doing a great job.

Over the next two months, Shane caught 2 moles and we have had no mole
activity since then. Shane was professional, communicated frequently
and billed as stated. We would use his services again (but hopefully we
will not have to!).

Shane is a charming young man who made trapping moles a walk in the park. We had tried unsuccessfully to catch them for 3 weeks while they just made more of a mess of our lawn and flower beds. Don't mess around. Call Shane immediately!

Shane is very personable and conscientious which made him a pleasure to work with. He met me the 1st time he came out and explained how he works and then just took care of things on his own. I like his pricing model where he is paid if he is successful, the other pest control companies I talked to couldn't meet that level of performance.

Shane is a very personable, professional person. The work was done in my Mom's yard, and she now thinks of Shane as another grandson! You can tell he was very respectful and kind when interacting with her.

Here's what happened:
Moles had been digging in Mom's yard for some time. Our first attempt was by our lawn guy who dropped poisoned worms into the holes and spread granules over the lawn to kill the worms to remove the mole's food source. This was costly and ineffective, and who wants poison in the yard. Ick.

Next we called Whack-a-Mole:

• Shane responded to my first call within 2 hours -- this on a Saturday morning!
• He was able to fit in his first visit by the following Monday, even though his schedule was quite full.
• He took several calls about mole activity from Mom without making her feel like she was bothering him.
• He responded to those calls by coming to the house, checking the traps, and making adjustments.
• Within a couple of weeks, the mole had been dispatched. ;-)
• He returned several times after to check to be sure there was no further mole activity.
• We are soooo glad to have worked with Shane. If there are more moles, we will call him again.
• I recommend him everywhere.

On the first visit Shane came and spent some time talking about the service and the charges. He set the traps and they were checked and reset at least once a week. Every trap was anchored to the ground safely so other animals or children wouldn't get to them. Each mole caught was left in a plastic bag in a predetermined spot for our disposal. It took about 3 weeks to rid our yard of moles. He left the traps an extra week to make sure there was no more mole activity. Shane is pleasant, personable reliable and good at what he does.
We spent a total of $250. We will use Whack A Mole again, as we live near the woods and have unlimited supply of moles.
